Shallura and Zutara are both ships where they balance each other and are equals unlike with their canon love interests, and both my girls got done so dirty in the end by the show writers. I could go on and on! But hey at least we have fan works ❤️❤️
Excuse my Zutara fangirlism but I’m on my hundredth ATLA rewatch and I just noticed another one of those scenes that could have made for PERFECT foreshadowing… it’s really crazy how this ship wrote itself in the show!
Anyways notice how Katara reacts to Jet seemingly wanting to join the gaang and Toph calling her out on it:

She’s blushing because she obviously had feelings for Jet, a canonical love interest of hers.

But this time Zuko is genuine and works to gain her trust back!! And then we see him risk his life for her like a couple episodes later…. AHHHHH

Zuko has a crush on a certain debate team captain, but he's too shy to tell her!!
I brought back my high school au designs for this prompt! Torpe is described as the inability to confess to/be around someone you have feelings for. It made me think of wanting to give your crush a love letter, but being way too nervous hehe. I also just looove pining punk! Zuko.
Don't worry though, he eventually finds the courage to do it ;)
