Wild course of events at the value village today. My roommate sent me the first photo, so I ran over with my gameboy to test them. The silver and gold games were both translation bootlegs, as in a bootleg of silver and gold, but there probably wasn't an English version yet. So there were strange literal translations and spelling mistakes in the intro, and spaces missing between words. The last photo is also an example of a real gold and silver that had a sparkly body and not the flat grey. Also, instead of saying Nintendo gameboy in the top divet, it just says GAME. From what we could tell, the Pokémon Red is real though.
The twist and turns of this day. Also, we even taught the employee it was a bootleg by showing her the real ones, but apparently value village won't change the price even if it's a bootleg, so some poor fool might accidently buy 2 $130 bootlegs and get scammed a second time.

i would like to make sure you all are aware that jazwares, which makes a lot of pokemon merchandise [figures and plushies namely], as well as squishmallows and toys for other brands [sonic, star wars, and so on] is a company that is owned by a zionist.
i wanted to make another post about this even though other people already have in the past, mostly in reference to squishmallows, as i didn't realize jazwares owned squishmallows [& this is on me for not doing due research]
