Happy 1 year anniversary to Mr Sherlock Holmes! Here's a litttleee celebratory comic from me
Sorry, dunno how many sh&co enjoyers watch D20, but… in the event that John does leave 221b for Mary my brain cannot help but draw a parallel between Sherlock and Riz Gukgak (beyond both of them being detectives lol).
Manic and overjoyed seeking of knowledge. Cutting your hands on shards of glass in relentless pursuit of the truth (revenge). Loving your friends in a way that it feels like it is impossible for them to reciprocate. Ruthlessness as a means of protecting what means the most to you. The loneliness in intellect to extremely eager companionship pipeline. God just… everything about the confrontation with Baron in FHSY.
“You would not have lied so frivolously. You love the truth. You seek it so much that you cut your hands upon the inside of crystals. But you use deception to protect yourself from something you fear.”
“The years will go by, and everyone will find someone who matters more to them than you.”
Ouch!
“No one’s getting engaged mate no chance of that anytime soon” SHUT THE FUCK UP JOHN SHUT YOUR MOUTH RIIIIIIIIGHT FUCKING NOW
sherlock&co is the one sherlock adaptation that im okay with not making romantic johnlock. because john and sherlock are already so found family. they are soulmates. they love each other in a way that is special to them. i don't care if it's romantic, platonic, or a secret third thing. their relationship is important and strong and beautiful either way.
Sh&co vs. bbc sherlock
Something I feel that really separates Sh&co from bbc Sherlock is that Sherlock is not some super computer mind thats a million steps ahead of everyone.
Yes he is incredibly smart, but he's not the only one who is solving the problems. Like there are several episodes where he couldn't have solved the crimes without John and Mariana.
I just really love how they all work together- Like Mariana and John don't just exists to look stupid compared to Sherlock.
i don't forgive you. but thank you for this
The what-if episode is going to go one of two ways
you ever think about Cecil's "and I fell in love instantly" line as an act of protection over Carlos, knowing full well that the town is never so welcoming or kind to strangers. sure he liked him. sure he liked the idea of something new in a town that never changes. sure he may have even loved him.
but "and I fell in love instantly" not as a declaration of true love, but a declaration of "do not fucking touch this one" because everyone knows that if you are on Cecils shit list, you might as well be excommunicated from the town
do you ever think about it devours and city council acknowledging how annoying Carlos is to have around town explaining things and helping, but they can't do anything because of cecil.
because I do
