I had foot surgery so I figured I'd treat y'all and post my sexy foot pics. I have tailor's bunions that I got from that fun thing called genetics, and they've gotten so bad over the past however many years that I can't wear any of my old dress shoes. the solution is to cut that bone, move it over a bit, screw it in place, and trim the excess. it's a very minor surgery that can be done under a local anesthetic block and light sedation, if any sedation at all.

other fun notes, the two bean shaped bones I circled in the left of the first image are sesamoid bones. x-ray shows that I fractured one at some point but never noticed. because it's asymptomatic there's nothing that needs to be done.

the toe I circled to the right of the first image is missing the medial phalanx, or it's just fused with the distal phalanx.

surgeon said my foot anatomy was "really interesting", which translates to "your feet are fucked up". thanks doc

the first drawing is from 2018 or 2019, before I abandoned my intuos 3 and SAI for my ipad . one must imagine Si(sy)phus happy
