•was problematic at age 15 (forgivable)

•is an objectively better person now and a super strong and inspiring hero type of guy but is also far less entertaining and interesting as a result (the edgy 15 year old was so good)

•has really struggled with social interaction etiquette in the past

•wears plaid now

•has jumped into a dangerous situation at least once to save his best friend (whom he didn’t always have a good relationship with)

•died in at least one timeline that was later overwritten

•didn’t get to do as much in the story as he deserved (but to be fair it’s probably better to let other people shine since he’s already gotten his time)

•also knows a pink-haired girl with a name ending in ‘-ri’ (who’s mostly closer with a mutual friend of theirs)

•name ends in ‘-ku’

Sora: What...?
Joker: I only steal from the Bad Guys.
Sora: Oh, So you aren't bad?
Joker: Well I'm a Hero if that what you asking.
Sora: Sorry... I just heard that you steal hearts and I just thought of how wrong that is.
Joker: I get it Kid. What I been doing is bad to some people. I'm not deny it.
Sora: I take it there really bad people?
Joker: Yeah, From pervert teacher to corrupted politician. I even shot a evil god that seek to controlled everyone.
Sora: Woah, that awesome! I bet it would be cool to be Phantom Thieves myself.
Joker: W-Wasn't you agent me stealing people heart?
Sora: You said you only doing to the bad guys, right?
Joker: Well it isn't just being a Thieves Sora. You need a Persona and a codename.
Sora: Persona?
Joker: I let Oracle explained it to you. As for a codename, we need something that bring out the best of you.
Sora: Really. Well... *Summon his keyblade* How about "Key?"
Joker: Hah. Better then call you "Spicy."
Sora: Hey my hair isn't really that Spicy?
Joker: True. That honour go to Cloud.
Sora: You got that right.

So… this is semi-canon-ish, but also not fully canon, of course.

But in the story that Paul Castro Jr. made for Rindo in his head in order to voice him, he decided that he was a Kingdom Hearts fan:)

Well… To put it more closely to what he said, he said something along the lines of, “I got the script, and it said that Rindo is a kid obsessed with social media. So I started looking into things and games that kids around his age play, like Fortnight. I even looked into the original World Ends With You” (though he was a fan before this), though not too much, because I didn’t want that to affect my performance for this game too much (I think he means like, accidentally making Rindo like Neku or something, when Rindo is clearly supposed to be his own character). “And I even looked into things like Kingdom Hearts.” But he’d also been a fan of Kingdom Hearts before, and had apparently played all of them, growing up:)

So, let Rindo playing Kingdom Hearts headcanons abound!

I sometime wounded what DDD would be like in TWEwY if that Kingdom Hearts did existed?

And also, he is a FF fan at least sent He played FantasyGO, so wouldn’t really pass me. (I also have FanGo be like World of Final Fantasy-like game.)

So who you think Sora’s Meow Wow, Riku’s Komory Bat, Neku’s  Necho Cat and Beat’s Kooma Panda used to be in the age of fairy tale?

Also why are they Sudo Neku and Beatalike?! Now that I think about it. Are they saying the TWEwY gang are in the age of fairy tale too!

And what about the Bosses. Are they MC’s old friend that are willing to work with Young Xehanort and become Nightmares.

In all honesty, Back before Neo was announced, In my possible TWEwY2, I have it that Tsugumi (or what I dub her, Kibou) had time travel or Chronokinesis. And was from the far future on the Mission to stop the Inverse.

Do to his own miscalculation, end up in Shibuya’s Underground and been pay her fee, her memory for the Reaper Game, ending up being Neku 1st partner in the New Game, much to Coco delight.

It was this to explant how do to believed that she was Neku and Shiki daughter was able to interacted with Neku and other. I also have it that she was Angel too and Mr Mew was the anchor to keep herself stable in the past and keep her safe from the paradox that would come of being in the past.

So yeah, I don’t really mind that Rindo had Replay as a unique ability of his and that Neo have Time travel, As if that was a real issue in KK:DDD story. And by the way, I think Rindo’s Replay disproved that it connected to Kingdom Heart and it Quadratum subspace.

But beside Replay, I like do to think that Rindo actually have Chronokinesis letter in the story.

Now imagine Sora hear some of the cartoon friends calling Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy by their real name.

Sora: Wait. The King full name is Michael Theodore Mouse!

Sora: Minerva...? You name is Minerva, Lady Minnie?

Sora: Donald, you didn’t tell me your middle name is Fauntleroy? Why didn’t you tell me that.

Sora: George? You real name is George?!

Than again, I something think it would be fun if Sora does had a full long name. But then again, those are mouthful full of name.

No but really, I thought that Kairi doesn’t remember her past and her home world was something magical, like she lost the chain in those memory by magical mean.

But no. The poor girl was traumatised by Terra-Xehanort/Terranort action and she must had repressed those trauma.

She was a Princess with PTSD!

There's really three sides of the Kingdom Hearts fandom, and they all draw in different audiences.

There's the Disney side drawing in, you guessed it, Disney fans. The main draw being the several Disney Worlds and Disney characters, which (while disconnected from the main plot of the series) make up most of the games' content.

Then there's the Square Enix side, drawing in fans of the Final Fantasy series and its characters. These characters are a bit more integrated into the original KH storyline, but don't seem to have as big of a presence in the games as the Disney characters.

Then there are the fans who are there for the original KH characters and the original storyline, as complicated and comfusing as it may be. These fans were either drawn in by the Disney content or FF content, but over time grew fond of the original characters.

There may be some overlap, as most fans are there for the original KH content regardless, but rarely do you see overlap between the Disney side and the FF side. It does happen on occasion, though.

Beat is a Riku Parallel

  • They both lose somebody close to them that they feel guilty about treating poorly, and end up joining the wrong side in order to fix it:
  • Beat pushes Rhyme away right up until the day they died, and tries to make it up to her in the Game, but he ultimately fails to protect her, and joins the Reapers in order to save her.
  • Riku and Kairi’s friendship has always been rocky because of Sora, but when her heart is lost, he joins Maleficent in order to save her.
  • They both sacrifice themselves for another close person’s sake:
  • Beat throws himself in front of Neku in order to shield him from a potentially fatal attack.
  • Riku stays on the other side of the DTD in order to protect Sora (and the rest of the world) from the darkness within.
  • Their biggest desires are to protect the things that matter:
  • Beat claims he doesn’t have a dream, but his desire to protect “the one person who matters” is very likely the “strongest dream of all” that Joshua references.
  • Riku states from a young age that he wants to “protect the things that matter, like [his] friends,” which is carried throughout the games to the point where [[[[[RE:MIND SPOILERS]]]]] he’s told that his literal dreams are the key to finding Sora. [[[[[END SPOILERS]]]]]
  • They keep fUCKING LOSING SOMEONE CLOSE TO THEM:
  • At the end of A New Day, Neku is shot and then disappears right in front of Beat.
  • Sora’s just fucking gone.
