some plots based off of kpop music videos—(linked!)
( I AM YOU, YOU ARE ME ) — in a world where soulmates are literally extensions of each other, every pair dresses the same, has some of the same likes and dislikes, while still maintaining their own personality. muse a has lived most of their life with no soulmate at all, and with all their friends meeting their other half, has resorted to working grave shifts at the convenience store where they meet muse b, who happens to dress exactly like them, but muse a thinks this is all a joke, they’ve known muse b for years and they’ve never dressed the same and they’ve barely even talked. little do they know muse b has purposely been changing and avoiding them because they don’t feel like muse a will accept them—but eventually stops trying to hide and tries to woo a reluctant muse a.
( I’M YOUNG ) — muse a and their band has made it big time back home, but muse a can’t forget their ex, who they’ve left behind with both of them bearing broken hearts in a different country after a beautiful relationship came to an ugly end. months later after partying, scandals and loneliness, muse a boards a plane back to muse b, who is stone cold when letting them into their apartment. after a one sided argument where muse b asks repeatedly why muse a came, the two end up kissing, but muse b quickly has to hide muse a when their new significant other comes over unexpectedly. trying to distract the other, muse b announces they’re pregnant, and muse a, not understanding, believes it, and sneaks out, again broken hearted—leaving muse b to chase them down in another country.
( GIVE LOVE ) — muse a has been crushing on muse b since pretty much forever, who’s older than them by a couple years and therefore, way out of their league. noticing they hang around muse c a lot probably crushing on them too, muse a devises a plan to steal muse b away and get together with them, but muse b doesn’t seem to see muse a as anything other than a younger sibling figure, and muse c is getting more and more suspicious of muse a, who is now a very annoying third wheel.
( THERE IS NO TOMORROW ) *modified slightly — muse a and muse b are two badasses, the two nobody messes with. dating for months now, the relationship tilts between fine and near ruins, muse a working as a street fighter and muse b working as a bartender. muse a is often gone all times of the night and comes back home in the morning covered in blood and bruises, causing muse b to worry and causing both of them to fight. eventually they break up and muse a starts sleeping around, but they get back together because muse b is concerned about them. one day a fight gets real bad and the police get involved, and muse a disappears off the face of the earth without a word to muse b, fearing for their safety.muse b, terrified, lives on wondering what happened to their partner, until one day while traveling, they wander into a street fight and see muse a, and all hell breaks loose.
( ERASE ) — muse a and muse b used to date, but went through a bitter breakup, since the relationship was filled with jealousy and coldness with brief moments of happiness, mostly because muse b doesn’t believe in love and thinks muse a could do better. though there’s still strong feelings on both sides, they lose contact and meet again a year later at a bar. muse a looks completely different and is dating the bartender, muse b is in yet another cold relationship that they doesn’t care about. after that encounter, they keep meeting again and again, and keep pushing each other away, until muse b puts their foot down and asks why they didn’t make it and why can’t they be together again.
( GONE ) *modified slightly — muse a is a budding pianist with a heart condition, studying under a teacher who’s home they go to everyday for lessons. one day they see muse b come in, and through some investigation, learns that muse b is blind. muse b, the child of the piano teacher, has been living as a secret all these years, as their father is very renowned and any knowledge of their existence would stir up news. however, they often listen to muse a’s piano playing, thinking its beautiful. after trying to play on their own one day, muse a stumbles in and helps, and a romance develops, one muse b’s father is not happy about. so instead they sneak around secretly, but one day they get caught and security drags muse a out, making them drop their medication, and muse b picks it up, not knowing what it is or of what muse a’s condition is. days later, muse a returns and passes out while playing, not having taken their medication for days, and is rushed to the hospital. though muse b’s father tries to discourage any communication, muse b threatens to expose their father’s secret about them. when muse b finally finds muse a at the hospital, they visit everyday until muse a wakes up, and promises never to leave them, even though the health diagnosis for muse a looks bleak, another secret they are hiding from muse b.
