arranged (based on the show)— the modern world would like to think that the ways of arranged marriage are old and outdated, but some cultures and some families still do practice this in their communities. many generations grow up in families where the parents where arranged to be married, and so on. the time has come for a new couple to be arranged and it’s even tougher to now begin a life with a person you’re maybe not that familiar with, you may not even like or get along with, and have to adapt your life to whatever standards your culture or family has had in their ancestry for so long. and adapting to somebody else’s too. and when divorce is the most frowned upon thing....nobody really wants to give up on a marriage if if can be saved right? even if you hate each other a little? or a lot? the hard part comes in figuring out as a couple how you’ll adapt to each other and each other’s family and continue the rules that have been seemingly written in stone, or whether you’ll make your own rules.
married at first sight (based on the show!) — not everybody finds their true love, even though they so desperately want it. so a group of single people have gotten together and agreed to be coupled together by specialists. the thing is, they won’t find out who they’re going to be coupled with until their wedding day, when they will finally meet each other at the alter. it seems all great on the day of the wedding and first few days of the honeymoon, but they’re legally married now. that means they’ll have to move in together, somebody might have to give up a job, possibly moving into a different state, figuring out each other’s personalities and of course, dealing with each other’s in-laws. the first year of marriage is the hardest—and that’s the time frame to fall in love and truly develop a relationship. in one year, the couple will meet again with the specialists to determine if they want to continue the marriage, or get a divorce.
so a plot based off relationship goals by vanessa white because i’m obsessed— muse a and muse b are both celebs in hollywood, but neither really has a good reputation. muse a is controversial for being sexy, from her songs to her videos, to the amount of people she’s dated while being in the spotlight. despite being slut shamed nearly everyday, she’s kept her head high and has been active in promoting for equality in the industry and society. muse b isn’t much better, branded a mysterious bad boy by the media for his party boy ways and habits of always being at some club with a different girl every night. nobody knows that every woman he’s ever slept with has been treated with respect and her privacy has always been protected, after all his parents taught him better. so when they happen to bump into each other at an event and start seeing each other, the media bursts into thinking they’re just another hollywood couple disaster bound to happen—cheating, lying, the works. BUT. it’s the opposite. muse a and muse b have one of the most open, honest and envied relationships around—because what the media doesn’t know is that they’re actually decent people despite the image they put off, so even though there’s pressure and they both fight, in the end both only have eyes for each other. and suddenly they’re relationship goals for about everybody.
i know you don’t care too much, but i still care.
{ a } and { b } have had a rough relationship. what started out as an inseparable romance turned sour after eight months, but neither are willing to let go of each other. { a }’s destructive habits are partially to blame, getting drunk til they pass out in random places and { b } is called to see them at the hospital. { a } is ruining their health, and constantly belittling { b }, who refuses to give up on the person they once knew. until one day { b } ends up in the hospital diagnosed with an illness, and their family, who have long been telling { b } to leave { a }, take the opportunity to end the relationship for them, moving { b } back home and cutting all ties with { a }. for three months, { a } frantically searches for { b }, realizing that the only person who cared about them even though they treated them like shit is gone, while { b } is told by their family that { a } didn’t care about them and didn’t even come to see them when they were hospitalized. so when { a } finally tracks down { b }, they’re ready and willing to fight { b }’s family for keeping them apart, ready to be the partner they were to { b }, ready to give up everything they have to get { b } back in their life. however, { b } doesn’t seem to care anymore at all.
idk but listen the literal ANGST this turns into hurt my very soul—imagine a fighting with b’s family when they finally find their house and they get so loud that b comes downstairs and a nearly cries because b looks so weak and sad and they blame themselves for this because if they hadn’t been a dick then maybe a wouldn’t be sick AND THEN B DOESN’T EVEN SEEM TO CARE THAT A IS LOOKING FOR THEM and imagine them having to rebuild their relationship all over again and the yelling and the i’m sorry’s and fuck man fuck fuck FUCK this is sad i love it
lullabies;;

months later, muse b is single and miserable and has spent all of their time looking for muse a, who cut off all communication after the argument and even moved. when they finally find muse a again, they want them back—in a relationship like they had so long ago. but it’s clear they’re going to have to make muse a fall in love with them all over again—and they have to fall in love with muse a all over again too.
let's not fall in love ;; muse a and muse b have been off and on flirting for as long as anybody can remember, but nobody's ever made the move to say 'let's date, i like you' yet and muse a is increasingly frustrated by muse b's shrugging off when asked if they have any romantic feelings for muse a. truth is, muse b has been head over heels for muse a since the day they met—but is plagued by the feeling of not being good enough, terrified of breaking muse a's heart and ruining the only good thing in their life at the moment. it's easier to remain friends they think—until muse a gets tired of waiting and moves on, breaking muse b's heart. it'a time for muse b to make a decision: will they fight for the person they truly love, or push them away to save the both of them from hurt?
because teacher x teacher plots are amazing.
- 001. { A } and { B } are both brand new teachers—young, fresh out of school, and filled with new ideas. however, the school they are placed into is set in it’s ways and many of the teachers resent the changes they try to bring. when they finally meet up, they become best friends—talking in the teacher’s lounge, having joint class lessons with their students, hanging out when school’s out.
- 002. { A } is a brand new teacher, who’s just been sent overseas to teach in a completely different country. they have difficulty settling in, but { B } who is a native of that country, helps them out and love blooms while { B } teaches { A } all about their country’s customs and traditions. but just as feelings are admitted, { A } must go back home. ( plot twist A/B asks the other to come with or stay with them instead. )
- 003. { A } just moved into a different state and is now starting their new teaching job, but they’re having a little difficulty settling in, especially when faced with an empty classroom they have less than twenty four hours to decorate and lesson plans that need to be on the principal’s desk before day’s end. while agonizing on how to get it all done, { B }, who’s doing some late night grading, pops in and offers to help a frazzled { A } decorate. in the late evening,when many teachers are going home, { A } and { B } are eating pb&j sandwiches and cutting out apples from construction paper and kind of falling for each other.
- 004. { A } is an elementary school teacher who’s been having issues with one of their students, who’s been acting disruptive in class and not doing their homework. when { A } calls for a parent-teacher conference, they’re surprised to see { B }, a teacher from the high school just a couple streets over. { B } explains that they and their significant other just got divorced and thus why their child is acting out. they beg { A } to please help them out with the child’s grades because they’re busy at the high school preparing for testing. in return, { B } bashfully offers to take { A } on a date.
- 005. { B } is a strict teacher. they’ve been labeled by their students as a hard ass and when students see their name on their class schedule, groans ensue and half of them run down to the guidance office for a schedule change. nobody knows why { B } is so strict—it’s just one of those things that just are. { A } however, is the teacher everybody runs to. while they take teaching seriously, they have fun with a lot of it. review games when it’s time for state tests and finals, allowing extra credit, taking the best interest of the student. { A } and { B } have never really seen eye to eye, but have no choice when they’re both put in charge of their grade’s annual school trip. when they get together to plan, { B } is difficult, but { A } is determined to break down those barriers, and after a while, { B } is surprised to find how much they really love { A }, but don’t know how to show it.
- 006. { A } and { B } have been flirting the whole school year—everybody knows it. they use their students to send each other stupid notes with their lesson plans, are always seen talking on lunch duty, and generally buddy up when needed to chaperone school dances. even the teacher’s ship them together, always making small ways to have the two of them together, or teasing them. the only thing keeping them from dating is the school policy, which says teachers are not allowed to have romantic relations under any circumstances.
