i think what most people fail to understand is that curating your online experience doesn't just mean blocking and filtering the things you don't like or don't want to see but that it also (and maybe more importantly) means engaging with the things you do like and want to see. if someone creates something that makes your experience better, let them know! tell them! reblog their things! you get to see/share more of what you like and they get to know that someone out there appreciates their work it's a win-win situation for everyone involved

Getting my flu shot, Covid booster, pt 2 of the hpv vaccine because FUCK Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.!

When antivaxers went wild in 2021 I got three COVID shots, one flu shot, three Hep Bs, one pneumonia, three HPVs and a Tdap all within one calendar year out of pure spite.

This year I've gotten a tetanus booster, 2-part HPV, covid and flu and if I can get RSV I want it, too.

I've done a LOT of research on my local cemeteries and it involved paging through death certificates one by one, I have seen SO MANY child death certificates with vaccine preventable disease under cause of death.

Let's make sure that never comes back.
