What can I say… I like my blades as I like my babes. Sharp and deadly. Amazing characters, who’ve struggled a lot, went through abuse and came out of it still smiling and slaying, trully they are daily inspirations for me.
They just deserve a lot more attention from this fandom. A lot more. A lot.

a lot of people saying well maybe it’s just Like That in orlais which, fair, reasonable, but you’ve GOT to see how the king or queen of ferelden doing this when it’s only okay in orlais, and their mistress IS an orlesian bard, is actually worse. like you see how that’s actually significantly worse

i don't know why it didn't occur to me earlier, but not only leliana as the divine makes it legal for her to marry her girlfriend but she's also going to marry a grey warden. like either they're both flipping off their organisations out of spite or leliana just went "what, you're not supposed to marry? honey, don't worry + doesn't matter + don't care. :)"
ALSO going feral whenever there's a thought of leliana and surana coming to orlais, bc surana is always so fascinated by leliana's stories and shenanigans she had back in her homeland (a part that leliana did actually enjoy herself). SO it's a trip in her girlfriend's country for surana, and she learns how to love and respect it through her love's eyed, as she learnt for so many other things.
and they definitely have a cute date! with the red jenny level of shenanigans!! and leliana is sly and giggly, and surana is so in love with her, and so open-minded for her. and they would have silly giggly kisses after they would pull off a prank here and there. and don't even get me started on the reclaiming perspective of it-
thinking about josie being all "leliana please put down the knife" kind of friend and then surana appears at skyhold and josie hopes that at least leliana's soon-to-be wife may reason with her but all surana does is basically "mad respect to you fr but if my woman wants a little bit of murder here and there i can only enable her" and hypes up every leliana's decision massively.
