She's Crafty
B-Boys and B-Girls,
This weekend, while at Lollapalooza, I was randomly shouting Beastie Boys lyrics during the mass exodus of fest-goers from the Grant Park when—much to my surprise—my calls were answered by other Beasties fans. But, these weren't just any Beasties fans, turned out my hysterical Beastie Boys-esque shouting was answered by Chicago's premier (and only?) all female Beastie Boys cover band She's Crafty. I had a brief but rad chat with these ladies after seeing Santigold and then we went our separate ways.
I've tried to locate a website or facebook page for She's Crafty, or a twitter handle or something, but haven't been able to locate them online anywhere. It dawned on me that they may have just been pulling my chain, in which case, kudos ladies, I totally bought it—quite crafty, indeed. However, if She's Crafty does in fact exist, I'd love to send those ladies some electronic high fives via the internet.
So... if anyone has any info about She's Crafty, lemme know!
