Blood Brothers is kinda like "The Hangover" with vampires and features killer art from Evan Shaner. On sale now!
Finally got the awesome Evan Shaner commission commemorating @knutsenk and my one year anniversary framed.
I’ve just noticed that as of today you can read the section of the Thrilling Adventure Hour book that includes the Cactoid Jim story I drew, DIGITALLY, on COMIXOLOGY. RIGHT HERE. Above is one of my favorite panels from the story. I love drawing westerns and the only way to make it better is throwing a jet pack and space lasers in there.
Here’s the physical book on Amazon, which appears to still be for pre-order, and includes a lot of great work from excellent folks.
Go read this! Evan is a huge talent! Support him!
Did I add this sound effect to Blood Brothers #2 just so I could get this screen grab...
...Maybe.
(Sorry, Nate!)
CBR posted the first preview of Blood Brothers #1 with outstanding art by Evan Shaner. Check it out!
Inspiring Aquaman by Evan Shaner.
Over the shoulder — favorite thing I’ve inked today.
Evan is good at arts.
Encyclopedia Brown in “The Case of the HOLY CRAP IS THAT A BODY?!”
I think I'd actually kill someone to read Encyclopedia Brown comics drawn by Evan. Like a really shitty, totally awful person, but I'd do it. Probably.
Hey folks! Due to a sudden plumbing disaster/yard excavation I’m running a sale over at the shop on EVERYTHING. It’ll be 25% OFF every list price. Please go give it a look if you’re so inclined. Thanks!
I’ve got some Doc Shaner originals and they are things of joy and beauty. Go jump on his 25% off sale!
What Ming said! Help Evan out and make your walls look 100 percent better than they do now.
Hey folks, EERIE COMICS #2 is out today from Dark Horse Comics! Here’s a panel from the story I drew, written by Brian Clevinger!
Peeked at these inks a while back. So good.
Who ARE you?
This is perfect and Evan Shaner is wonderful! I love you, Superman. ♥
Well I know who I want to be drawing Superman now.
This phenomenal piece of art has popped up in my tumblr feed about a dozen times today, and for good reason. Evan's art isn't just great, it's got heart and soul—something superhero comics could use more of. Follow Evan's tumblr and support his work. It'll be one of the best decisions you've made today, guaranteed.
Today’s sketch is this old spaceman. More at the blog.
I like the look of this dude. When I grow up, I want to be old spaceman.
I think it’s important, now and then, to take stock of what you’re up to from another perspective.
LOVE this. I frequently think about chatting with my younger self.
Holy shit! Evan Shaner did an Encyclopedia Brown page just for fun?! That guy's my new hero!
