Congrats to two talents!
Very proud of Ethan Young and his Eisner nomination for Nanjing: The Burning City in the Best Graphic Album—New category!
Friday night was CRAZY.
Yeah, it was!
Brett, Steve Sunu, and I were all together at and, later, laid off from Wizard magazine. Now, we're accepting the industry's most prestigious award. Not bad!
Getting psyched for San Diego Comic-Con next week and keeping my fingers crossed for an Eisner win for The Black Beetle!

Still blows my mind...
Dark Horse Presents won its second Eisner Award in a row for Best Anthology. Here's every 2012 cover that helped secure the 2013 win.
The above art includes work by...
Duncan Fegredo, Brian Wood, Kristian Donaldson, Mike Mignola, Dave Stewart, Thomas Yeates, Fiona Staples, Tonci Zonjic, Francesco Francavilla, Sam Keith, Dean Motter, Phil Noto, Tim Seeley, Tony Puryear, Steve Rude, Michael Avon Oeming, David Lapham, Lee Loughridge, Carla Speed McNeil, and Raymond Swanland.
Big thanks on behalf of and to these stellar talents and all those contained within these issues!
Dark Horse Presents won the Best Anthology again. Not sure my joke was a hit though. You win some…
Sometimes, at the Eisners, you have to roll a hard six. #sdcc
Still can't believe this actually happened...
