Since you're sharing club pages and stuff--Do you happen to have stuff on Yukino, or Ayase, or both?? Ayase in particular sort of drops off the face of the earth after Persona 2, and I remember her ending in P1 and all but! +_+
Sure let me tell you about Ayase’s sad future because you can never be happy in these games (see Mark crushing on Maki and Nanjo witnessing the death of his butler-dad first-hand)
"I think Ayase’s a cute girl. During high school even if she says some stupid things, the boys would still pamper her, but as she gets older they will stop paying attention to her.
That sort of thing feels very severe and cruel.
I wanted Ayase to have that part. She wants to live the now to its fullest, but the action is going in the wrong way. So I’ve thought of an image of a girl who lives in a short-lived manner.
Ayase’s lifestyle is definitely going to Shibuya and go karaokeing with friends, take purikura pictures, and check on her cellphone during karaokeing and have meaningless conversations and tell herself to put in more spirit.”
As a side note, keep in mind this was written in 1997, so she would have this type of cellphone.
"Although, I wonder to what she’s putting her spirit in…but to the kids around her age, it must mean something. Something that you cannot explain rationally, an unknown pride that they have. They use that as a means to live. That’s why they think it’s alright if right now is okay. They know that’s not true at all, but they end up turning their backs to reality. Even now, there are young people who do a similar thing. I would say that Ayase is the character that shows that the most."
Ayase is the popular kid at school that will grow up not sure what to do about her future. Because she hasn’t prepared for it.
"In that sense, I feel the most sorry for Ayase’s future. In the beginning, I was thinking of a worse ending for her. Like going down the road of a hostess and ruin her life. Even the current ending is pretty harsh. She gets married, but her husband’s salary isn’t quite enough…. So she probably thinks "can’t go by without getting a part-time." Ayase herself probably got married so she doesn’t have to work, but for some reason lives a life with lots of burden. But a person’s life has good and bad things anyways. Like when you’re young everyone’s shining…."
So at least she got a moderate ending instead of becoming a hostess. Also she’s lazy.
So did you ever wonder why her design has bandaids on her neck? T
Well you’re going to enjoy this:
"Those bandaids are to hide hickies. Sorry, I threw in an old man’s idea! I’ve only drawn it as a joke. It was also as a means to see if kids now will pick up on the idea."
So technically it’s not. But it also is because he wants to see if players will notice that and wonder.
"Do they even hide it now? In my days we used to hide it that way. Just think of it as a part of Ayase’s fashion. The school probably has lenient regulations. Everyone’s dressed freely, after all. Even Nanjo proudly wears the No. 1 scarf. The main character is the only one dressed regularly. Ayase probably enrolled into this school because of that kind of atmosphere. But this school also has Nanjo and Kandori attending, so it probably has a high grade point average. I wonder how Ayase got through the entrance exam?"
"Maybe a "papa" that she went out with during middle school is a staff member of the school… Just kidding, I don’t know what that means (lol)."
"By the way, Ayase’s cardigan is her own clothes. She has it matched with her leg warmers. She’s being fashionable even when she goes to school. She probably dresses up even more when she’s going out. She probably lets her hair down and curl it and wear Chanel and fur."
