Persona 4: Dance All Night Artbook

The Persona 4 dance all night has a visual book which includes all of everyone’s favorites such as 

Costume sketches  and

Emo Kanji (Kemoji?) apparently (I can’t stop laughing he looks right out of Daria tv show)...

The return of commentary about each character and even Dojima’s invited to the party. But something that I find super interesting is near the end, and it seems to be a height chart but just for the animation part:

With Dojima and Nanako as placeholders and Nanako listed as 10cm less than when she was in P4 (??), the interesting part is that everyone else but Yu seems to have grown a little. In the rest of the artbook profiles they are not this height.  Which probably means it is not canon, but you’d think that everyone’s getting older and growing but holy shit Kanji broke Eikichi’s tallest persona character record. Yosuke is set closer to Yu in height and apparently Naoto is not the smallest anymore? But there’s a question mark near her height. 

It might be the shoes (it’s definitely the shoes). The question is why did they make this?

The fox one is doublesided and has either orangish or black zippers (yip yip all yo yens).

Otakuthon 2015 - Persona Panels + Artist Alley (I’m Alive! ALIVE!)

Yes, the last few months I have (blessed you with my) been relatively silent, but this is due to my work taking over my life. 

However, the once a year gathering of Montreal nerds has been my call since its opening and therefore I follow it’s siren call of last minute artwork (still no con table for me either sob so I can’t tell you where to fine me), but we will be hosting not ONE but TWO persona panels! 

Panel 1: Persona World will be all about the games themselves with some history behind them, (and hopefully some videos and music if I can get them working and ready in time I mean uh YEAH). The panel will be on Saturday from 8:00pm-9:30pm

Panel 2: I AM THOU will be a more in-depth look at the characters because last year we ran out of time when talking about them. Did you know Kanji loves Hawaiian quilts? Naoto builds her own computers? Junpei has a piece of clothing that says F*ck New York (he tried to be cool)? That Jun crossdresses and is prettier than most girls (well that one is not much of a stretch ANYWAY) All this and more! Saturday 10:00PM +11:30pm

As with the previous years, it will come with an intro video so GET HYPE!

I'm so excited about this Persona. So I guess the setting self on fire is basically returning to P1 and P2 vs turning into your Persona.

This also opens so many possibilities; is everyone's else Personas going to be based on old books? Will someone have Phantom? Doctor Omega? Judex? Herlock Shlomes?
