So I've realised how stupid I have sounded as well as other Mixed-race people who look more white than the non-whites race or races they are mixed with
when we become angry when we are called "WHITE".
At least I don't have a tattoo that says "HECHO IN MEXICO" and argue about how "more foreign I am over another recent, DARKER immigrant...(the jerk who grades my homework HARSHLY) *COUGH* *COUGH*
Stuff that is NOT OKAY.
In my calculus classes, I've noticed and have experienced abelism by my peers. I've noticed and have experienced ableism by my calculus classmates. 1) This classmate suffers from an illness that allows her through disabled students (DSPS) a desk with her initials so that seat is reserved for her. In calc 1, a woman in that class after sitting in her desk one day, and being told "my initials are here, this is my desk", by the other classmate, resorted to MOVE HER DESK TO ANOTHER LOCATION in the room, so she'd have that desk space (but with another desk). (PS you're not supposed to move the desks....) 2) A white, 39 year-old classmate last semester remarked to me, how "that African girl was late to class 15 every day". (The previous semester in Calc I) SHE'S THE GIRL WITH THE ILLNESS. 3) The white 39 year-old refused to accommodate my disabilities when I insisted I needed to move seats due to distractions in the class which were preventing me from learning. He seriously stated he'd compete with me for that desk which "was his" and ignored my disability claim. 4) He laughed twice when I brought up the fact my take home test was significantly impaired by the fact I had completely run out of my medication during that weekend. I fucking hate these people. What the fuck is wrong with them? I don't want to rat out my White friends because (and I mean followers) because I love you guys, but I think it's strange that the only people not giving a single fuck about people with any sort of disability in these classes are for some reasin...White people. They're the only ones I witness discriminating against people with mental or physical disabilities. They are the only ones that I witness ignore anyone's claim, or even have any compassion for someone bringing up that they need accommodations because "I/they matter too". Our needs to these people don't matter. This 39 year-old is taking these classes for FUN. Everyone else is in these classes is in there to transfer to a four year. He already has his masters. TBF his wants or needs don't matter because he's not a real student...

[South African] White privilege is believing affirmative action and transformation exist to oppress you and being able to be offended that you are not ‘welcomed’ into an industry, despite the fact that only 20 years ago ONLY YOU were allowed into that industry. Whites are not welcome in the public service? STFU.
Dude, some South African white girl in my cultural anthro class basically said just this.
As I enter the physics world, a world composed of mostly men, I will often deal with aholes who are like the guy I deteste who i've been dealing with for 2 semesters, and will for 2 more.
I don't get why grown-ass men, think that by dismissing a woman's comment, attempting to make her feel uncomfortable in an environment where she should not feel so, or by "playfully insulting" her...you are "hitting" on her...or God have you...you think you're letting her know how you feel.
FUCK OFF.
people (men) have a problem with me dating asians (preferring them too) because I'm female.
nobody questions men in San Francisco who only date asian women...everyone fails to recognise the fact that I am part asian. I'm being treated like a pre- Loving vs Virginia case.
since most of my followers are female, please don't ever let men tell what is right or wrong or question something you're doing

White privilege is me watching ”Hercules” and in an episode where they go to Egypt, the actors who play the Egyptians are white people with some bronze slapped on them even though during the series run of ”Hercules” black Hollywood was in full effect dominating tv shows and theaters.

White privilege is making the very first Black Disney Princess… and then make her spend the majority of her movie as a frog, design her white sidekick to look more like a princess than she does, , make her love interest racially ambiguous, and have her villain be a caricature of a black religion.

Submission: Never having to worry about being mistaken for another race. Or people never assuming you as the default. (Which is white) Or never having to say stuff like : “But I’m not white! I’m black!”
I’m a black person, but I’m partially-albino. (Which means I have the super-light skin without the lack of melanin in my eyes and hair.) Yet I have to put up with statements like “But you’re not black tho.” Or “You’re not black enough.” Or “But you’re not ghetto like them.”
It certainly doesn’t help that I’m socially awkward and that puts me outside of the narrow definition that White people seem to have about black people.
I hate having to put up with this shit. I hate to say it, but this is a safe space for PoC, so I will: It’s not fair. :(

White privilege is when Black People take a stance of “Not Snitching” In our community its seen as some crude, Ghetto, Anti-establishment effort. When white people do it in the Jewish community its described as the following: community’s traditional code of silence, known as “Messira,” a Hebrew epithet for “informant.”

This has to do with Jewish law that's why it's "respected". It can come at a price though, especially if a case needs witnesses for a crime.
