Genuinely not well put together & lost as hell. Failing Christian. Always guaranteed to mess things up. Maybe hoping to be happy.

black myth wukong's development team was riddled with violent misogynists who made a group chap dedicated to talking about how much they wanted to abuse and molest the women on their team. are we trading one bigotry for another?

Tf is this collective "we" you're throwing me under? The amount of fucks I give for the opinions of others in a culture that doesn't prioritize equality that clashes with Americentrism has no bearing on wanting to play a game that came from that culture. You don't want to spend your money on it? Then don't.

I don't stop liking a form of media just cuz its creator is a dick. Go police someone more sympathetic and willing to be guilt tripped for your soapbox.

Anon, this might come as a shock to you, but...no one gives a fuck about soapbox issues when we wanna play a game about a hyper murder monkey.

That accusation has been debunked for a while now but like other things proven false people don’t care

I am actually surprised the didn't mention the allegations as a con.

They've been milking that one for months without a proof.

Great diversity in items and mechanics...

But gameplay gets repetitive iver time...

I feel like these should be mutually exclusive.

Lack of consistency? In game journalism!?

Impossibru!

Like, the journo likely found just a super cheesy kit to go through the game and then got bored from the only combo they pull.

I tried watching a "stuff you should know" video from Gamespot, and they spent a lot of the time talking about the allegations.

The comments were...not nice.

Black Myth Wu Kong EXPLAINED - Cultural References to Journey to The West/The Monkey King by AvenueX

She doesn’t just translate the parts of the game trailer/preview that didn’t have English subtitles.  She also picks up so many references from Journey to the West and a popular 1980′s television adaptation, that this game apparently references even in its voice acting, script, and music.  O.o  She’s also able to point out a lot of implied story and gameplay that would otherwise go unnoticed by someone unfamiliar with Journey to the West or Chinese.  A very thorough analysis.  ^_^
