Grandpa Arnulf and Grandma Biruta

"For the past and for the future".

An old saying from the Southern Isles' says, that there are two kinds of Westergaards: those who descend from Odin (smart ones) and those who descend from Thor (strong ones). Unfortunately, sometimes a Wild Card is drawn - Westergaard, who's appearance in this world was evidently caused by Loki.

Fanfic snippet - On a bright, clear day or how Arendelle has established an embassy in the sultanate of Erish

Arendellians and Hans landed in the sultanate of Erish to complete one of the former prince's piratical quest. The plan is to pretend to be diplomats (Hans pretends to be their manservant named Jurgen) and establish a not-so-fake Arendellian embassy there, so they will have a base for the attack on the heavily guarded prison. Well, Hans will, Arendellians just want to get home. Anyway, the city's governor, Kagan, is feeling a little suspicious about all this... they came, they yelled loud, they want a building to arrange an embassy in - but he wasn't informed about anything and has barely heard of Arendelle up until now. What may be going on?

10-year-old mystery finally solved

One of the biggest riddles of Disney Frozen is how the choir gets up to the gallery. Nowhere in the movie is an entrance to the gallery or an access of any kind to be seen. All we see during Elsa's coronation scene is a completely open construction of the chapel, but there are twelve singers above the altar. How do they get there? Many fans have wondered how this is possible for ten years of Frozen's existence and everyone has puzzled over it. Even in books and comics, not a single clue is given and, stupidly, nowhere can you see the back of the chapel, i.e. from the west. Not even in Mindcraft designs is this side more clearly visible, which proves that the fans have no idea. However, there is Disney concept art and two, almost identical books about Arendelle Castle. The latter is clearly intended for children, but even there you can see the beginnings of a solution to the problem.

I myself was at a loss until yesterday, when I suddenly realised something while downloading screenshots and concept art. And tada!, suddenly everything was completely simple and logical. I could hardly believe it. You're probably asking yourselves now, "So how does that work? I don't believe anything without proof!" No problem. Let's go!

I didn't even notice it and this level of dedication for looking for the answer both terrifies and amazes me

Fanfic snippet - When Hans had learned about the "Troll theory"

Not so long after, the company has spread around the bookshop and disappeared from each other’s sight. Which, as Hans thought, was probably the safest option for him. He was finally able to find a nice chair and sit down for a moment to think about what the hell just happened.

As a fellow historian I can confirm that Lars and Helga are 100% accurately portrayed historians. That is exactly what a historian would do - find a library and dig through the shelves. Read those books, make notes, take some with you and tell everyone around you what you've just learnt - whatever they want to hear it or not.

I love Lars. I am so happy he is still in canon. And so glad he is actually getting along with Helga now. There are so few historians around, we need our representation.
