Happy Halloween!
I was pleasantly surprised that you guys liked the part of it I posted yesterday. I was worried it wasn't good enough becasue it wasn't perfect because I hadn't done some of those things before. Anyway, the speed at which I'm making this big project isn't fast enough. So I've been thinking of ways to make certian effects more quickly.. I have a lot of new ideas to help make effects and other tricky things faster and hopefully even better looking. One which I've tried before with yarn fluff is smoke, steam, spraying water, or even fire. So I did some tests with a fluffy pipe cleaner to see how it worked, and since that wasn't very interesting on its own. I decided to add it to Shadow's motorcycle. I hope this will be useful for making future projects.
I've startred work on my big project, but for now here's this little animation. I told myself that I can't play Shadow Generations until I've gotten my big project done. It will be out in two hours, and I'm not sure I have that kind of self-control, but I need some extra motivation.
Here's another storyboard that's a direct sequal too the one I posted yesterday, so if you haven't seen yesterday's storyboard post yet, you should watch it first. These are helping to plan out my ideas and make these little stories less intimidating to work on, and then I can at leat have them out in some form before the new Sonic game and movie come out.
I hoped I wouldn' have to post one of my storyboards. But I"m starting to make them jsut to get all my ideas out there for you to enjoy, even though they don't have the pretty backgrounds, voices, and animations. Hopefully I can make those later.
Shadow is fighting a horde of Shadow Androids. This was my first large scale action scene. I hope you like it as much as I liked making it. I need to make a variety of characters for Shadow to fight, but this was really fun practice.
This is the unused bit from the two scenesI combined for the animation I posted the day before yesterday. I made this one first and then decided to animate you seeing him run out of gas rather than him just being stopped. I hope I'll be able to get a new animation for you tomorrow. I'd better make it early.
I'm so sorry I don't have a new animation for you guys. I was transferring my files to my computer so I would have room to make new animations. I"m also sorry for posting so many Shadow things if you do't like them, but there was new Sonic news today so I felt like I had to post something related to that. I'll try really hard to make you some story animations because I hae so many fun ideas that I think you guys will enjoy, and I want to tell those stories.
A little story for you. Shadow's motorcycle ran out of gas.
He'res today's episode of "I don't even know if this is possible, but I was having fun animating.:D" So, I think I"m gonna try to have the goal of posting a narrative animation every day, and maybe I'll feel better about myself and not feel like I'm being lazy and not making quality content for you guys. So hopefully I can make a bunch of story animations so you can have better content than a bunch of practice animations. At leat this motorcycle series is better than what I've been posting before it which was a lot of reposts and experiments.
More motorcycle fun!
