Some art for @ask-antarcphos ‘s AU where Phos is the one taken and Antarc has silver arms. Ofc I went for angst, but where is there not angst in this AU ;–;

First is just after Phos is taken, second is a scene for when/if Antarc went to the moon.

Anyway not to make my absolute adoration for Yuuri obvious at every second of the day but Yuuri Katsuki is no question the strongest and bravest skater in YOI. 

He lost his entire support system at 18 and moved to a different country for 5 years just to chase his dream. From the ages of 18 to 24 he never saw his old family/friends/Hasetsu. Not even ONCE. He left home at a point when the Inn’s future was unlikely, while trying to find his footing in seniors, and starting college. All while dealing with a severe anxiety disorder. 

Finally, the fact he took the reins of his life again with skating Stay Close to Me. People characterize Yuuri as a quitter way too often in this fandom, and it’s the greatest disservice you can do to his character. Yuuri is a fighter down to his bones. He pulled HIMSELF out of a depressive slump. He skated his first GPF while holding the guilt of never saying goodbye to his dog again. He even turned to his idol of over 10 years, naked, and told him “Yes, you can be my coach.” 

A man who has no experience coaching except maybe for helping Yakov here and there. A man who (to Yuuri’s knowledge) haven’t even had a proper conversation. A man who he really has absolutely no reason at all to trust…yet he took the plunge for a chance at greatness.

Yuuri Katsuki’s entire life was him taking a chances and being utterly fearless even when the chemicals in his brain tell him to fear everything. Stop making him into a weak character. Fuck
