Wanted to practice doing comics, still have a lot to learn but it was fun regardless :3
When you make your characters interact how to you plan it out? Or make a situation
I'm still kinda learning but a method that kinda works is how I want certain charcater traits to interact with another (maybe a plot point, situation or just toward another charcater)
This goes for both parties in how they deal with conflict or opposing views.
Demon likes to escape their problems so they indulge in reading to have an excuse to not deal with them. So angel has to combat that some how- and certain actions will result in certain outcomes depending on their charcater traits.

Ok soooo Demon is the social outcast of the year, and it's thanks to Angel that they even get to breathe social interaction. However, they are not a hermit by choice and its due to a complete misunderstanding that has left them without a home, and with authorities on their trail. FUN.
In desperate situations, they seek refuge in Angel's forest blanket. Which they like to wonder about in. Though angel pulls them out before they get to close to it's dripping point.
Buuuttt for the most part, Demon spends their time people-watching, chatting with Flowers and Buggy when they crave attention, and sneaking snacks that are totally free, all while teaching Angel how to be "normal."
As a reward they spend the end of the day with therapy from angel,, with mixed results but it's all for mutual understandings of eachother.
Overall their original motivation was to "find a home where they belong," but that sense of purpose has faded. Now, they find joy in the chaotic shenanigans of each day, often dragging Angel along. However, it has become clear that Angel isn't inclined to stick around for what is needed and that terrifies demon to no end.
Nothing brings me more joy than writing for these GOOFY goobers

demon was hella uneased about angel considering it's robotic stoicism, and lack of human etiquette. The damn thing was creepy to be around. Though that impression was completely thrown out the window seeing them be easily flustered by human encounters. They quickly found out this angel has never touch grass and it shOws,,
You see why they're goofy together??? You see??? Like, despite angel claiming to "show them the light" (as seen here) demon is kinda doing most of the leading and who knows if it's to the detriment of them both-
They have fun. But all and all.. demon is fond of having someone to confide in,(and also find comfort in as seen here) even I angel comes off as blunt most times :^). It's just how it is
on angels perspective I'll say this
I can't wait for angel to gain a personality hanging with this demon gremlin and being absolutely terrified by it. Cause ain't nothing spookier to an eldritch angel than gaining a will of its own.

(Edit: the concept remains the same however their displayed personalities here have slightly changed. And angel being a hat is no longer canon :)))
So their deal is is funky angel demons shannagins- but no- demon is quite satisfied with being outta hell and the very fact of being someplace not awful greatly improved their mental health. But being someplace new and not really knowing how to talk to ppl can cause a whole new step of problems lmao.
Here comes an angel sent with the simple but vauge instruction of "deal with the demon" leads them to the conclusion of teaching them how to integrate with humanity despite having ZERO people skills.
