So my friend gif'd me dying while I was streaming Mighty No. 9. I sort of gave up when I was low on health. Then my friend started saying she's coming in for a hug and ... YUP.
I got early access to the mighty no.9 beta game! 8D So far, it's pretty hard! The boss, I lost count how many times I've died! But the game is a little forgiving and gives 1ups provided by Plug before entering the boss room.

I’ve been meaning to draw Mighty No. 7 since he was revealed so ye. :D He kinda demanded a more dramatic pose so it was really fun to try that out, shading especially.

Offsetting the dark colors with yellow touches is meant to give the environment a tense, oppressive atmosphere. What’s running through the pipes, you might wonder? Those house a powerful current of energy that courses through the level.
And of course that tiny blue silhouette on the left side of the biggest pipe is our ever-intrepid hero Beck, there to give a sense of the massive scale intended for this level. But wait, there’s more…
Remember earlier in the first picture, when the lights went out? That wasn’t a joke!
As you advance through the level, the power will occasionally cut out and leave you stranded in the dark. How will Beck make his way through this vast darkness? What twisted manner of enemies and traps will await him there? And which of Beck’s wicked siblings will he encounter at the conclusion of this tricky stage!? (That last one is probably not too difficult to guess…) Guess you’ll just have to wait and see…or not see, when the power is out! ;)

So yeah a week or so ago they showed what Mighty No 7 is gonna look like in Mighty No 9. I know there’s allot of comparisons to MegaMan and Im trying to think of MN9 as its own thing but I can’t help but think No7 looks like a mix of Zero, Cutman and Siarnaq, all of whom are cool characters in their own right

-Mighty Nº9 fanart- Call(s) ! Right after the first voting of the designs for Call I start doing these as a daily warm-up exercise. I would work on one of these, I probably was a week or so worth of warm-ups. I specifically wanted to give attention to the other designs I liked for her that didn’t get chosen(back then 2 of these still were on the running), specifically de second from the left that was Kenji Inafune’s design, and the last one on the right which was the one I voted back then. The color schemes of course are my own choices, since all of them were black and white back then. I did them purely on guts choices so I’m not entirely satisfied with all of them(I think I’ve could’ve done a much better work with the last one on the right) but it served it’s purpose as a practice. Now the final design for Call has been chosen which is kind of a bummer people chose the one who is almost identical to Roll from Megaman. I at least hope they dare to make a different choice in the color pallete. I think a purple and white scheme would improve it wonderfully( I might draw my version of her that way). I hope you guys like it :)
