uhhhhh i used a long ass excerpt bc just one sentence didn’t make sense out of context so i’m gonna lowkey ignore the rules and just throw up some random tags: @bisexualgamora @thegreenwomanswalkman and uhhh whoever else iDK I CAN’T THINK OF ANYONE ELSE BC EVERYONE ELSE HAS ALREADY BEEN TAGGED SOS

Gamora tries not to think of all the past Nebulas who had to grieve her death all over again—losing Gamora after finding her alive on Vormir. She resets the same game each time rather than abandoning it for a new board entirely, meaning the Nebula before her now is the same Nebula who’s lost to Thanos hundreds of times, though she doesn’t (shouldn’t) remember it.

“Try to be optimistic,” Gamora says finally, placing a hand on Nebula’s shoulder. “We can win.”

(They don’t—not in this game, at least.)

additionally, i just planned out a 10-part kidfic series ft. both peraltiago and dianetti as well as jotted down some ideas for that one college au i mentioned on my main blog a little while ago so...send me motivation to write all these for realz y’all LMAO

OK BUT LIKE what really got me in the (lmao, leaked) infinity war trailer in terms of starmora was peter’s little “oh man” (preceded by the infamous gamora crying in the collector’s destroyed shop/lair/whatever tf scene that i was freaking out over last week) that was probably in reaction to thanos like rolling up to fight or whatever, bc just….think about it

by the time infinity war will take place, peter and gamora will have been in a relationship for 3-4 years (assuming they really do get together after vol. 2). gamora’s a v strong person, yes, but that doesn’t mean she never has her moments of weakness where things from the past just make their way back up to the surface and stuff. 3-4 years of peter and gamora….that’s 3-4 years of peter and gamora confiding in each other about their respective pasts, comforting each other after nightmares, etc, etc

3-4 years of peter gradually getting to know this monster constantly lurking in the closet of gamora’s mind, her abuser: thanos.

and now suddenly thanos is…here. and that’s terrifying. peter has to face gamora’s abuser. gamora has to face her abuser. and he can’t do anything to prevent her from having to go through that and it’s just…really overwhelming, bc he just loves gamora so much asdfghjkl;’

and just,,,, UGH i have so many EMOTIONS over this and i doubt that peter’s little “oh man” is really that layered, but hey, a fan can dream (and subsequently collapse in tears) right????
