stopover in honolulu.
when it comes to flying and taking aerial shots i still get as giddy as a schoolgirl every. single. time. we’re on a plane. while all the other people around me seem to be so mature and well-travelled i’m the one with my nose (or lens) pressed to the window, soaking it all in, literally squeaking with joy while admiring the world from a bird’s eye view.
i still can’t (and probably never will) get over the magic of flying. isn’t it incredible that we humans can do that now? for thousands of years our ancestors looked up at the birds and wondered how their world might look like from above. a mere hundred years ago we finally took off to the skies - and now there’s a whole industry involving these huge metal birds that can take you all around the world within a few hours. and nobody bats an eye.
nah. i do! i’ll always be the annoying puppy that gets uber exited when the plane takes off. and i forever will take thousands of blurred and distorted pictures through filthy plane windows. here you go! ;D
