there’s one more week worth of california photos left for me to go through - our last week of three years in the bay area. this was us trying to soak it all in and to properly say goodbye to one of the most beautiful places there are in this world.
here: hike with friends, point reyes tule elk preserve
sigh. saying goodbye to california was/is not an easy task. so much of what we are and what we have now is shaped by these three years in the golden state. we learned so much about the US and about us, about roots and values, about people and cultural imprints in general. our travels and experiences, his work and my studies opened up new horizons in so many ways that i won't even try to comprehend this is one single post. i'd like to zoom in on one major life changing lesson though that springs to mind when i reminisce about this beautiful place: we learned to collect experiences instead of things. more on this soon (whole outfit is thrifted btw ;D)
