Quick Photoshop Tutorial: Match Color

Match color is a beautiful little tool that photoshop has which allows you to make the colors of one image more similar to the colors of another image. It’s a good way to make images visually cohesive color-wise when you don’t have a PSD of adjustment layers to put over all of them.

General Gif Tutorial

Hey everyone!

Some of you expressed interest in me posting a gif tutorial, and I’ve been wanting to post an updated gif tutorial anyway, so here it is!

I tried to make this tutorial as comprehensive as possible, and it covers getting videos and screencapping them (using either KMPlayer or MPlayer OSX Extended), making the gif on Photoshop, sharpening (in two ways), cropping and resizing, basic coloring, and then saving your gif.

I’m gonna be using this gif I made of of Finn from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer (sharpened in the two ways I will explain in the tutorial) as a reference:

If you’re reading this tutorial, I assume you already know how to make gifs, here’s what I use for mine: KM player, photoshop cs5 extended and this amazing action (x). I’ll be using one of my psds (sorry I am not sharing this one) but you can use a similar/pastel psd.

Another quick note: I apologize in advance for my english and for the amount of time you’ll read “selective color layer” on this tutorial.
