I know it's better to keep the number of the frames low, but what if i'm creating an animation and NEED to have like 40 frames? what can I do about quality?
hmm it depends on the sizes/dimensions you are using, like you should be able to get 50 frames on a 540x280px gif at under 3MB, but it depends on how much colour and movement is in the frames. I do alot of back and forth when i am saving as .gif as most the time i have too many frames and it is over 3mb so i have to go back and trim it down…this takes most of the time for me when making a gif set :( ….
Sometimes if i really need the frames and quality i make the gif smaller like instead of 540x280px i crop it down to 540x250px and see if i can get the mb down. But basically the smaller the size and the less colour and movement in the frames, the more frames you should be able to fit under 3mb.
Theme - Daybreak; [preview] [code] [install] [magnusthemes]
A sleek and minimalistic theme featuring Yuri Katsuki and Victor Nikiforov from the anime Yuri!!! ON ICE, inspired by Japanese web design and Sayo Yamamoto’s animated short Endless Night.
Features:
- Like/reblog buttons and optional hide captions on index page
- Pagination or infinite scroll with optional manual load mode
- 3 custom links plus a dropdown menu for pages
- Choose your body font, font size, and letter-spacing
- Choose your posts’ size, margins, gutter and padding
- Optional sidebar icon image, use any square image 50px or larger
- Optional slanted topbar, billy player, updates tab, stats area, popup search box, toggle tumblr controls
Notes:
- There is no background image option. Please do not ask me how to add one because it just doesn’t look good with this theme.
- To change icons, go here, choose the one you want, and enter its name into the text field. For instance, if I want a pig icon on the topbar, I’d type “piggy” into the “topbar icon” text field.
- To use the dropdown menu, simply add a page and check “show a link to this page”.
- Thanks to bychloethemes for the PixelUnion Photoset script modification
- Soundcloud script and video resizing credits go to shythemes.
- This is the tutorial I used for the draggable tags
- The icon in the preview is by katsuukis
Please like and/or reblog this post if you use or plan or using this theme, or just if you like it (: Thank you for your support!
aaahh so this is what heaven feels like
A sequel to my top 10 disturbing documentaries
- Through the Wormhole: Is there Life After Death: My most favorite one because it’s on a topic, that’s my life goal to answer scientifically. Morgan Freedman dives deep into this question, using neuroscience and quantum physics as an attempt to figure out an answer.
- Extraordinary People: The Little Mermaid: The story of Shiloh Pepin, the girl who was born with her legs fused together so she resembles a mermaid. This website described it as “her incredible story is a rollercoaster of emotions—one minute, you’re laughing at her precocious, adorable personality, the next you’re crying at the injustice of the world and her beyond-her-years wisdom.”
- The Boy Who Lived Before: Fascinating reincarnation case about a 5 year old boy who remembers a past life.
- The Boy Who Sees Without Eyes: Ben Underwood had his eyes removed at the age of 3 because of retinal cancer. But he uses echolocation (like dolphins) to do many things like get around and even play sports.
- The Twins Who Share a Body: Take a look into the world of twins who share one body.
- Magic of the Unconscious: Your unconscious mind is a lot more powerful than you think
- A Virus Called Fear: The power of fear and what irrational fear can lead to. This is a short documentary, about 20 minutes.
- The Brain, Sensory Deprivation and Isolation: Six ordinary people faced complete sensory deprivation. What happens to the brain when this happens? I couldn’t find the full documentary and linked you to the video with program highlights.
- The Mystery of the People Frozen in Time: Dive into the world of Pompeii, an ancient city destroyed by the volcano Vesuvius, where there are the hardened remains of people in the last few seconds of their lives.
- Children of Darkness: Tragic as it is interesting, this oscar winning documentary explores the lives of mentally ill children and exposes the abuse they faced in Eastern State School and Hospital.
These all sound fascinating tbh
Gosh i want to buy this pack so badly!!

“We Wear Culture” is a collaboration between Google and more than 180 museums, schools, fashion institutions, and other organizations from all parts of the globe. It’s part of Google’s Arts & Culture platform, which is digitizing the world’s cultural treasures, and functions as a searchable guide to a collective archive of some 30,000 fashion pieces that puts “three millennia of fashion at your fingertips,” Google says.
But it isn’t just a database. Google has worked with curators to create more than 450 exhibits on different topics—say, how the cheongsam changed the way Chinese women dress—making the site an endlessly entertaining, educational portal filled with stunning imagery touching on everything from modern Japanese streetwear to the clothes worn at the court of Versailles.
i can already tell this has made writing for historical fandoms – the worst part of which, for me, is absofuckinglutely hands-down the clothing – much easier.

Hi there! First of all thank you for the hard work you put into your ps resources blog, you're doing a great help to the editors' community :) To my concern: there's an amazing gfx maker who does these fairytale-like sparkly and dreamy posts, i really love their style but they never answer questions about ps :(. I was hoping maybe you could help figure out a tutorial? Thank you :) [[ mary-s(.)tumblr(.)com/post/156905510383/%E0%B2%A5%E0%B2%A5 ]] [[ /post/158167151853 ]] [[ /post/160307460448 ]]
Hi thanks so much! the edits are gorgeous! But without seeing the original image its hard to say exactly, but looks like a combination of texture and brush use. It would be the longest tutorial to create and i dont have the time or want to do it. this tutorial uses some similiar techs i think, Goodluck tho :D
