Which Crystal(s) I Would Give Different Twilight Characters

so I got an anon asking “Which  crystal  would  you  give  different  characters” probably because of this post I made. It ended up pretty long so I figured I would make it it’s own post.

I’m not focusing on crystals that have traits the characters already have (like Esme goes with rose quartz and moon stone) I’m focusing on what they need to work on and/or  what could help them.

Disclaimer: this is all for fun. Ignore the post if you think crystals are bullshit. Pretend that I’m just giving them to these characters because they’re pretty and everyone deserves pretty rocks. I also do not think crystals actually take away depression(or any mental illness) or trauma and should not be used in place of therapy. This is all just for fun. Also please source your crystals ethically!!!

Bella

Bella already has that moonstone ring in the movie but I would personally give her some rhodochrosite for self love and healing her inner child and any protective crystal(because someone is ALWAYS after her) but I’m choosing black tourmaline as the protection for her because of how great it is at shielding from negativity and her power is a shield. During new moon she needs lepidolite or caribbean calcite because they’re soothing and help with nightmares.

Edward

First of all Edward would say crystals are bullshit and make fun of people and refuse to let people just enjoy. But he’s a vampire so are crystals really that much of a stretch? He’s getting citrine for happiness, self esteem, and positivity. And also blue lace agate cause as my friend Sarah says “it makes trauma go bye bye”. Edward also needs moss agate because it helps balance emotions. I will say that Edward should absolutely NEVER get hematite because it reflects negativity back at its source so if you cause your own negativity it messes you up and let’s be real Edward is the source of 99% of his problems.

Jacob

Jacob gets green calcite because it helps clear out pain and heart break, removes negativity by turning it into positivity, and helps with personal growth. Im also giving him aventurine of any color but specifically pink aventurine because it helps people stop feeling trapped and see options in their situation. I also think he would like petrified wood because he wittles, it’s the state gem for Washington, and because of its associations with stability, security, strength, and becoming the best version of yourself.

Okay so we’ve established that criticizing twilight because of sparkly vampires is the weakest critique. There are so many actual big reasons to criticize it.

But have you considered the point that I literally like shiny rocks more than I like men. I literally collect crystals. And I don’t want to encourage the stereotype that women are just obsessed with shiny things. But I genuinely love crystals so much. And this is not an Edward appreciation post but I see Bella’s point. If I saw someone made out of diamond I’d be like “oooh pretty 😍” too.

Like have you seen men? Sparkly rocks are an improvement.
