Ratchet and Drift both know and have some ways felt how it is to be abused. They think they know how you feel, but it's honestly different for everyone.

The two of them try their best to offer you a safe home with them, where you don't need to live in fear and where you can be yourself.

If physically abused, Ratchet is there to treat your bruises and wounds, but he can tell you fear contact when you flinch away when he reaches for you.

This is where Drift comes in.

The swordsmech tries to help your mind to heal with meditation and such. He gives you breathing exercises and tells you to breathe in through your nose and out your mouth while relaxing your body.

He is there right next to you, gently using his voice and calming aura to guide you through the healing process.

Drift and Ratchet do their best to help you get through your trauma so that you can one day feel happy without fear of being abused. They honestly love you and want you to be happy.

Drift is mad at your father, but his main concern is your mental health right now. He’ll hug you close to his body, apologising for his unyielding body as he tries to make you feel better again with best of his abilities. Suggests that you and him try together new breathing exercises to help you cope with panic attacks that might come with PTSD.

Rodimus is absolutely and literally steaming in fury and he is on your side as long as you need him. He feels like you need him more than your father needs a good ass whooping. Won’t let you anywhere near your father again if it’s up to him. Takes you out for some fun time and gives you Rodimus Star for being such a strong person.

First Aid’s first worry is that if you’re hurt, both physically and mentally. He can do very little to mental damage implied to you, but he can treat any physical wound you might have taken. Strongly thinks that you shouldn’t be in contact with your father, he should protect you and not hurt you. Will stay by your side until you manage to calm down.

Ratchet is livid and instantly checking you for any kind of damage. He instantly wants you to stop seeing your father and wants you to start taking meetings with Rung to treat your symptoms. He tries to be there by your side as support if you need one, but he can’t always make it. When he does, he does the most talking about your and your father’s situation, saving you the trouble for going through those memories again.
