My Olicity heart is breaking. This is not acceptable, how could felicity do this.

Hi anon, yes many Olicity shippers heart’s are breaking all over the place, including John Diggle’s :)

I must admit, I’m not a fan of the writing at the moment where Oliver and Felicity are concerned. Yes, I ship them and want them together eventually, but I want the slow burn and the moments.

To me, it seems we skipped the whole part where Oliver fell in love with Felicity. I mean, at the end of Season 2 the ‘I love you’ declaration came out of no where and 3 episodes prior Oliver was in a committed relationship with Sara, willing to move in with her. And then bam, start of Season 3, Oliver is suddenly in love with Felicity.

As for Felicity, it has been pretty clear all along the way she has felt about Oliver, any blind person could see it. So, she had to suffer watching the man she loves, be in love with someone else throughout season 2. Then start of Season 3, just when she thinks she can finally be with the one she loves, said loved one yanks it all away.

So Oliver acting like the victim right now, to me, is childish. He put himself in the situation and thinking Felicity won’t move on to someone who might actually want to be with her is selfish. He can’t have it both ways.

Therefore, I’m happy Felicity might start a relationship with Ray Palmer, a girl can only take so much rejection and it might be the push for Oliver to pull his head out of his ass!
