Saw this on Reddit earlier. Holy shit this is horrifying when you consider the amount of violence, gore, and traumatic shit he would’ve seen in all 14,000,605 outcomes. That would’ve included watching his friends die over and over and over again.

Not to mention only a few years earlier, he trapped himself in a time loop with a cosmic entity and was repeatedly murdered:

Scott Derrickson even hinted that while the film only showed a few instances of his death, Strange died nearly a 1,000 times inside the time loop. And Strange remembered every single way that Dormammu offed him.

Being the Sorcerer Supreme isn’t easy. I really want Marvel to confirm the damn sequel already, so that it can explore the aftermath of those events, how they are affecting Stephen’s sanity and leaving him vulnerable against Nightmare. (And also Mordo, because Chiwetel Ejiofor is too good a talent to be wasted on a one-and-done movie deal.)

Let’s not forget he’s got that one condition where he can’t forget anything (I think he says that’s how he got his masters and doctorate at the same time?) so he literally cannot forget the thousands of times he saw his friends dying and being slaughtered and thanos wiping out the universe
