*I’m talking about associations that you don’t choose, the person is just associated with this Thing in your head for no apparent reason. For example, everyone I know is a breed of dog, animal, and color. Really hoping this makes sense but anyone lmk if you need clarification.

all of my friends (and characters im obsessed with) get one animal and one dog breed. this is simply how it works.

Nobody comes in knowing everything. Nobody comes in knowing all the correct terminology. By getting angry with younger and newly awakened alterhumans for not knowing things you may find simple, you’re pushing them away from a community of people that have already been pushed away from most other spaces.

Had the absolute privilege of performing with massokissed (IG) for LittleRedDaySpa’s Monster Masquerade party. Sometimes it’s fun to tie in a different character and style then I usually do

any other nonhumans "translate" animal behavior to their human bodies?

ive seen a lot of people who shake their feet to convey a wagging tail, but other than that, do you do something else?

i noticed i have a lot of these little translations and i find them cute. i do the slow blinking, the fullbody shake, the whale eyeing and the head tilting, which are obvs easier to do as a human. but i also managed to learn how to play bow!

i do the leg-tail wag! i also shake my head to fix my fur, head tilt, and have a standing play bow. i bend over a bit and pull my hands to my chest instead of getting fully on the ground. my friends also get bonked in the shoulder with my head a lot!

THATS BASICALLY HOW I DO IT!!! i swear nonhumans are just a hivemind /j

I am a werewolf, and I would divide the animals I have the desire to hunt down into two groups - prey, and competition/territory threat elimination.

I'm a hellhound therian and general canine something-or-other and here are some species I have prey urges towards

Elk and deer (even as a cervine therian)

Humans

I am also a crocodile therian with fish hunting urges

my prey drive is reeeally low, but the closest thing to me as a gecko are mosquitoes and butterflies. as a mutt dog w hound in the mix i mostly want to catch rodents and birds but even less than the insects.
