pattireadsbooks This book is so good that I wanted to literally throw it across the room when I finished it. BRILLIANT and now I don’t know what to read next because I know whatever it is, it can’t possibly be as good as this book. “True Story: A Novel” by @pettykate is almost impossible to describe, with its non-traditional narrative and storytelling devices. One night and the actions of a group of high school lacrosse players on that night lead to a lifetime of consequences and residual fallout for almost everyone involved. Just read it. Trust me on this one. Please note, it’s not ACTUALLY a true story.

pattireadsbooks Okay, @colindonnell and I had the MOST fun reading this one to Cecily. “10 Little Ninjas” written by @mirandapaulbooks and illustrated by Nate Wragg, is a spin on the classic monkeys-jumping-on-the-bed story. But in this version, you get ninjas and astronauts and all kinds of fun characters falling off the bed! Seriously, this is so catchy that we developed a whole routine and our daughter now probably thinks we’re idiots 🤷🏼♀️ I’ll be buying this one as a gift for every baby from now on ♥️ #PattiReadsBooks #CecilyReadsBooks #Bookstagram
