Desperate and Stare

I like both and I am a TINY BIT undecisive so I like to consider all scenarios that I like... It's pretty normal for me to have conflicting scenarios in my head ;;;w;;;

But indeed I think Gio is very likely to just go for it. He has so many pretty and dedicated people serving him and honestly, it would be a crime (hehe) to leave them longing like this as well. All reward and no risk really. Archer would be also just so so happy about this, the happiest doggie in the region really. Just an added benefit, not that Archer would work any less hard for Giovanni in any circumstances but. Yanno. (Does it even make sense)

Also, it makes Archer more heartbroken once Giovanni goes and disappears so hey, the additional angst is just moved to a different spot :Dc

But ye ye I fully understand where you're coming from with this perspective. Gio is an opportunist and he's having a very good opportunity sharing an office with him hehehe~~

To be honest... I don't know. I genuinely don't know which one would suit them more.

On one hand, it feels very much in character for Giovanni to use whoever he is influencing to the fullest. Trying to push Archer's crush further, drawing him in with things that could mean something only if you are obsessed with the other person (while perfectly aware it's not mutual), it's a risky tactic that I think Gio could play, maybe even wondering how much he can torture (for lack of better word) Archer and how fast he snaps back.

On the other hand... I feel like Giovanni has a degree of respect towards Archer (and other executives for that matter), such things would feel like going an extra mile for something that's already firmly in your hand.

Additionally, I like the thought as well that Giovanni doesn't need anything extra for Archer to crush as hard as he does. It's all just Giovanni on his normal charisma and charm levels. He may of course use it, but not in a, let's call it, purpose that would hit where Archer's vulnerable spot is. He simply doesn't have to. Archer is his, heart, body and soul.

Tbh Archer doesn't strike me as a type that would ponder on such things. Like, in general, and that not even considering that Giovanni in his eyes is pretty much idealised to hell and back. Acknowledging that Gio could just as well be gone one day would not be something Archer could consider, I think. Like, he is aware of Giovanni's weaknesses and failings, but those he just acknowledges without a second thought.

And that could be why Giovanni's disappearance hit him as hard as it did. I imagine that Archer wouldn't even consider the world without Giovanni in it as a possibility. But when Giovanni went and left, Archer had to face that wall. Of course, it's different when he's gone but just nowhere to be found, with Archer basically spearheading whatever the fuck he was in attempt to explicitly go against Gio's wishes just to have him back.

Death though... It's hard to say. I think Archer would also see Giovanni's well-being as his own responsibility, so maybe he could consider such as his own failing. I'm unsure if Archer would be suicidal though, not actively so at least. Giovanni means a lot for him, so he would struggle to find his own place again. He is dedicated to Team Rocket, obviously, but he can't imagine it without Giovanni leading it anyway, so what would be the point of continuing that?

Unless... *eyes Silver*

I sometimes think about the fact Archer knew why Giovanni was gone which implies he didn't get outright abandoned, no, he got the message and had to confront himself with it. There was no slow realisation, it was just one hit into gut.

Like on one hand I want to believe one day Archer manages to score getting some with boss. Just, one day Giovanni shrugs and aknowledges Archer's crush and either gets to invite him to his bedroom or would go about it in the office because they are both so professional about their job but also it would be nice if they failed a bit (Archer under Gio's desk thinking emoji)

on the other it would be hilarious if Archer just would never be able to cross the line and get anything at all but pure professionallism from Giovanni. Just this pathetic man dying of starvation. (Gio is perfectly aware though.)

Indeed Giovanni has quite a nice shape in pokemas and with lodge shoving you face first in his tittie (I assume MC is shorter, somehow) this is hard to miss. So it's a reasonable assumption Archer does daydream sometimes about using those pecs as pillow heheh

Tbh I didn't but I can imagine that for sure :Dc I feel like nudity between them indeed isn't much (I assume both sew each other in some terrible state at least once anyway) and also Archer is pretty professional about whole ordeal. Sights are a bonus. I think he aknowledges pretty well that he is second in command (and would like to stay here, thank you very much) so that wouldn't be that much of a surprise to accompany Giovanni or receive particular tasks. It's more like a normal part of job with bonus that isn't a paycheck but more of Giovanni's presence uwu)b

I was wondering today about Archer and whip which I find always interesting for TR. I like to think he started from the bottom so he should be efficient in using one as well. Improvised one in bathhouse, maybe? Since alas his Houndoom wouldn't be as useful as he could be in a bathhouse ;w;)a

I was pondering about Archer, Giovanni and Nanu recently bc... Well, Gio and Nanu is a Thing, but what I find impossibly amusing is that Nanu and Archer are basically opposites in every way you can possibly imagine. Tired old cat cop vs young and motivated dog mafia second in command. Whatever spectrum they are on, they are opposite, and I love it and I like to think Archer has a special sore spot towards that guy, you can even throw in potential bitterness over Nanu knowing so much more than Archer. So Archer stumbling on that guy in Giovanni's room would be very unwelcome for him (and an interesting way to test Archer for Giovanni. He can almost see the way his leash loses some slack).

Maybe he wouldn't mind other executives that much. Like *points at Ariana and Silver* tho Archer would probs offer his own help in some regards if he could.

Yeah! Like, Archer knows when and where to stop and hold off. He can appreciate various situations he's put in, but that's for himself, and doesn't even consider any reciprocation. Hungers, of course, but won't expect nor demand. Even seeing is enough.

Giovanni is curious how far he can push him, but at the same time is careful to not push him too far. There is a balance in this regard between them, I think, and they both suspect the other is doing what they are doing but nothing is said out loud. They just know each other well enough.

I can't help but imagine this kind of thing when the boss just goes along with his life and underling is just always, always there. Like... I now read a book with elements of boxing and mobster and I can imagine Giovanni training (he has that mobster bod from somewhere ww), shirtless and sweating and Archer politely swoops in and reports. Maybe passes a towel. Appreciates the sight. Or Gio straight out of shower. Or out of bed, maybe not on his own here. This kind of presence that's always lingering and it's easy for Giovanni to ignore those hungry eyes while Archer know not to bite more than he is fed. It's kind of specific but I deeply appreciate Archer being reliable to the point of almost invisibility... Though of course, he's far from being invisible, you get me?

Archer always aiming to get more and he just rolls his eyes when he gets asked if he'd like to take over TR. Like, no! He is in a perfect place already, and I think he knows he's appreciated (after all, he is literally second in command), he knows there is nowhere higher up he wants to go. Alas, things he wants are not within... professional area anymore.

Tbh I don't think he'd like to be repaid for all he did. Like, in my mind it would make more sense if he didn't even expect to get anything more than he has. He is on top of the world, he is sharing the top of the world with Giovanni - and yes, he hungers, fantasizes, desires more, but he doesn't even expect to get any of this, ever.

Giovanni though wouldn't be where he is either without being pretty damn perceptive. He knows how to pull strings, and Archer's are incredibly easy to pull for him. And... he knows he can't reward Archer any more than he already is rewarded, so praise and time together is all he can (and is willing to) offer and Archer gladly accepts all of that. It works for them, though I enjoy the thought of Giovanni sometimes giving a little bit more, just to see how Archer would react (always the same way).

(akin to putting a slab of fresh meat in front of a starving dog, but dog is too well trained to move and get it and eat it without his master's unlocking the leash, even when it's loose and no matter how much the dog is hungry)

He is properly taken care of but Archer can't help but be a bit too greedy, even considering he is in Team Rocket. That seems only fitting though, don't you think? :D

He thinks he hides his hunger well when Giovanni crosses his legs and Archer can feel an itch at his teeth when he sees boss' ankles and a tiny bit of calves, or at least he thinks he does (He does, for most of people, and Giovanni isn't one of those hehe)

(Maybe Giovanni will let him have a bite later, as a treat) (Or maybe never)

On that note, Giovanni's line of "I'm expecting great things from you, Archer" from Pokemas is definitely something he uses to push his doggie a bit further uwu "It's never a pat" I feel like you are implying something a bit more sinister and I am enjoying that thought :3

Like, Ariana may have drive and will to be Giovanni's second in command (and maybe even that was what served as motivation in getting Giovanni an heir) but Archer possesses powers of homosexuality unlocked only to starving twinks hunting for their passionate exotic if a bit terrifying Italian future lover of their dreams in seedy gay clubs. Except they're in mafia and his range is a bit wider as such.

I still think about it... If you ask him if he is being forced into obedience he answers with this and I am mentally unwell.

*side note - hilariously I saw plenty of fans compare heights like this while ACTUALLY when you put models next to each other Gio is maybe a few centimeters shorter than Archer, I had to recheck later. But I'm still eyeing this and going like. You know what? I like this. I'll take this.

I wanted to draw a) Ariana, Archer and Giovanni together in one bed and b) Rockets having irezumi so I did both. Finally. 

Note that I have 0 idea about traditional japanese used in this sort of tattooing symbolism but it’s not like pokemon universe would use their own symbols, right?
