I don't know shit about communism or politics in general, but I know enough to know whatever communism Poland had to suffer was not "tru communism"
It seems like the people you call communist are more fascist than anything. That does not sound like what communism is really about honestly.
I wouldn’t call them fascist, as this is a completely different thing. Let’s not confuse terms. Fascism is an authoritarian nationalism, and idea of communism is definitely anti-authoritarian. I’m saying idea, as we all know history says otherwise.
I mean - I can certainly understand frustrations stemming from capitalism, I really can, and I can understand looking for an alternative. I mean, come on, fucking Amazon just got more worth than Apple or Google, while a) pretty much abusing its workers and b) Poland and Central/Eastern Europe ain’t worth shit for this little bitch. So no wonder people want change. If not history of communism, and maybe if not history of my country, maybe I could believe in that, as communism is a deeply utopian thing. Everybody love a good utopia. Especially people who know how to use one.
So yeah, I can understand where that movement is going from, but I am still deeply against it. The whole “it wasn’t a real communism” applies to current state of capitalism as well, funnily enough, but that’s a topic for another day.
I can understand, unless someone is one of Stalin/Lenin apologists. They can go die in a fire for all I care.
