Hot chocolate earrings topped with whipped cream and a peppermint stick. I am loving these little cups. I apologize in advance for using them way too much. :P
A remake of my chocolate lava cake plate, this time as a set of earrings. I'm only making one pair of these, so if you want them, make sure you grab them before they're gone! Buy it here - [link]
Working on making some items for my new miniature pastry display. :) I'll be doing a more varied cheesecake sampler soon. This was was just for practice.
Aaaand judging by how many people asked on dA, I'll be making some earrings of these. :)
Last night my stream was Oreo themed, and since I'd already made two Oreo pies, I googled Oreo desserts and found this cake. Getting ready for my bakery stand to come in, so I'm making some miniature desserts to fill it up. :D
A strawberry pie ring that was supposed to be a pendant for a necklace...until I forgot to put in the headpin and I baked it. >.> I'll be making a pie pendant today I think. This piece is for sale. I'll update the price sheet with it a little later.
The strawberry pie I made for my summer picnic. I love this pie. I think this is the first one I'm tempted to eat. >.> I'm making another one and turning it into a ring.
Another piece for a dA group challenge - a tiny working decoden box. The box portion needs some work; next time I won't make the box out of clay. I like the top. I made the rose, the ice cream scoop, and macaron last night, and I used some leftover cookies for the rest. There are some micro marbles in there, too. I couldn't leave the box empty, so I made a tiny cupcake to go inside. :)
The other request from my live stream last night - a strawberry shortcake charm. Yeah...I need to redo my strawberry cane. >.> lol
I had it get into my head that I wanted to take the tiramisu I made and turn it into a prep board of sorts. I wanted to be able to show the bakery owners that I could do more than charms and mini plates. I took the tiramisu I made and added a bowl of raspberries, a bowl of whipped cream, and an individual slice or tiramisu. First time making utensils; let me know how they turned out! :)
So I lied; I had time to make something today. :3 A chocolate lava cake with a mound of whipped cream, garnished with a raspberry, a mint leaf, and a raspberry sauce on the side. This was originally for Semi-Sweeties monthly food challenge, but I only just noticed it was for chocolate CANDIES, not just chocolate foods. >.< I think I will be keeping this one for myself. It's my husband's favorite dessert and will be turned into a magnet for our fridge. :)
When I was about 6, I remember desperately wanting to order one of these for breakfast. Beg and plead as I might, my mother wouldn't let me order one. "It's too sugary; you'll feel sick!" Eventually I must have whittled her resolve down with my whining because she caved in and let me order the damn thing. Oh, it was beautiful. Tons of whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate sauce, and maraschino cherry eyes. I loaded the entire thing up with strawberry syrup and proceeded to dig in. Nearly 20 years later and I still won't touch those. In fact, even making this made my stomach slightly roll.
Made a vanilla heart to go with the chocolate one I did yesterday. This one has a dollop of whipped cream (silicone) with pink micro marble sprinkles and a cherry.
Finally finished the box last night. Painting the bottom portion was the last part of it. I'm taking this with me to the convention to sell it, but if you're interested in it, send me a note! I probably won't be doing a piece this large again unless it's commission. I'll be sticking to smaller items if I try decoden again. :P
I had some silicone left over from my deco box attempt, so I decided to make some hair clips. One has little strawberries and pink micro marble sprinkles, the other has little waffles topped with whipped cream and cherries and sprinkled with blue and pink micro marbles. Should I start listing deco stuff on etsy? I'm working on more cabochons for the con, but if anyone would be interested in buying/commissioning something like this from me, let me know!
Another request on my live stream last night made by the-great-chanchan - a tiny banana split. :) I've never made one of these before, but it's great since I need to practice my ice cream scoops! My favorite part is the little cherries on top. I think I got the color juuuust right on them. :3
First attempt at a Decoden box. It's still unfinished; I need to paint the box still. Just wanted to see what the fuss was all about. :) Decoration placement could have been better and the bright pink popsicle is out of place. The silicone was the wrong type, too - way too runny. I made my own decorations on top - 2 cookies, a popsicle, a brownie with ice cream, and an ice cream cone. There are small plastic pearls and glitter on it as well. I'll have another picture up once I finish the entire box.
More crepes, this time the right scale for my plates. :D Two crepes served with a large dollop of whipped cream, a side of cherries, and drizzled with chocolate. I'm leaving this as is, but I can put it on a ring, magnet, pin, or hair clip. :)
