More earrings for my shop - this time waffles with butter and syrup. :) These are one of a kind and once they've sold, they're gone! Get a pair here: [link]
When I was up in Orlando, I found a miniature waffle maker. I've wanted to redo waffles for a while, so last night I sat down and made these. Waffle plates include waffles with butter and syrup (of course) and a mixed berry fruit salad with strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries. :) The waffles themselves are about an inch across. The plates are just under 1". All foods are made from polymer clay.
A tiny plate of my favorite IHOP breakfast - Pigs in a Blanket. I have such a craving for this now. >.< Pancakes are a bit too flat around the edges so I'll have to watch out for that next time.
I am not going to be posting at all this weekend (I think) since the convention starts tomorrow (omgaaaaawd I'm not ready D:). I'll have pictures of my setup and maybe of stuff I do on commission there.
Have a great weekend all! :3
I've wanted to try waffles again for a while, so I made a texture mold better for smaller waffles. Not too happy with this attempt; the waffles seem a bit off and my glaze...the glaze. Apparently salt reacts badly to Sculpey glaze and gives it this weird thick, milky consistency with chunks. And it makes it dry really, really fast and uneven. :/ Ended up throwing out that bottle and buying a new one.
Trying pancakes again. I think I got the coloring/texture/size better on these. And what plate of pancakes isn't made better with a heaping side of bacon? :D I'm leaving this as a miniature, but I can put it on a ring, magnet, pin, or hair clip.
Miniature pancake charms with butter and syrup.
