Giant shrimp emoji as a Christmas tree ornament for a recent commission. I have no idea why, but I struggled with this shrimp so much. lol Still needs a coat of satin glaze to hold all the pieces to the body of the shrimp. https://bonappeteats.etsy.com #handmade #polymerclay #fakefood #christmas #ornament #emoji #shrimp #shrimpemoji #commissions #etsy

I've been shooting pictures for the homepage of my new website. This is picture one out of 5. My site is getting closer to launching and I'm super excited! :)
Finished my holiday project. Well, one of them anyways. :P I got this idea while at Total Wine the other day. They had a bunch of wine charms (meant to hang off wine/cocktail glasses to mark each person's drink) but they didn't have any food ones. I thought, what better to go with drinks than hor d'oeuvres? :) Clockwise (bottom picture): Olive, cheese and cracker, bacon wrapped asparagus, pig in a blanket, and a prawn. I have quite a few more ideas for these. Let me know what you think!
So while I was out yesterday, I had an idea for some items I wanted to sell during the holidays, namely Christmas and New Year's. It's far from finished and I still need to correct what went wrong with this batch. The pimento in the olives is way too orange and transparent, the shrimp is too pink. I hope the finished product comes out as I'm imagining it. I'd be very pleased if it did. :)
