I've also listed these toast earrings. :) Toppings include beans, jam, and eggs, but I plan on adding new ones now and again! http://bonappeteats.com #handmade #polymerclay #miniatures #miniaturefood #foodjewelry #jewelry #food #earrings #toast #breakfast #eggs #jam #beansontoast #beans #savory
New toast earrings are ready to photograph and list on my website. :) http://bonappeteats.com #handmade #polymerclay #miniatures #miniaturefood #foodjewelry #jewelry #food #earrings #toast #breakfast #eggs #jam #beansontoast #beans #savory #wip
The new items are finally up in my shop, thanks to Comcast causing me two days worth of delays (and we're still fighting on that front so, yeah, today has been fun...).
I've added up miniature apple earrings (in Green and Golden Blushing varieties), raw salmon steaks, and a miniature banana split necklace. :)
Dollhouse scale salmon filets made from polymer clay. They're....okay. The color is a little off and the white lines are too thick. I hate making canes. A lot. And I hated making this cane the most out of all the canes I've ever made, including the strawberry one. It took about a good 2 hours to just build the thing. Did I mention I hate canes? Unfortunately, I have a few more to make. :c The good news is I finally managed to make a plate that looks decent enough!
Dollhouse scale assortment of pizzas made from polymer clay. Guys, I have finally figured out how to make a decent looking pizza! I sat down the other night for around 4-5 hours trying every single tutorial I could find. Nothing was working properly so, frustrated, I gave up for the night. Came back the next day and started to combine bits and pieces of tutorials into something that finally worked. This has been the one food that has stumped me for so long. It feels great to finally have figured it out. :D From the top: Cheese pizza with basil, tomato and basil pizza with mozzarella, salami/pepperoni pizza, and a Hawaiian pizza (pineapples and ham). Oh geez I fail at html seriously. D:
I haven't uploaded anything for a little while since I'm busy trying to build up an inventory for my show next month, along with trying to figure out a way to display it all (which I have figured out - I just need someone to help me build it because I don't trust myself around power equipment XD). This was all finished over the course of the week, along with several failures at trying to make my own plates and bowls. :P From the left: A breakfast plate with pancakes, eggs, and bacon, a lemon meringue pie, an apple pie, a blueberry pie, a peach pie, lemon squares on a plate I tried (and failed) to make, cinnamon rolls, cherry crumble, and chicken and herb sausages.
Since I want to practice more savory foods (and since Valentine's Day is around the corner), I decided to remake my oyster platter. :) I think the color on the oysters is a bit closer to the color of real oysters this time around. I also changed the way I made the ice. This is for sale in my Etsy store: [link]
Edit: This item has sold. I'll be replacing it as soon as I can. c:
This is the work I've managed to finish from Saturday and Sunday for my upcoming craft show next week. Believe it or not, I'm still not done. ._. I still have to make ornaments and some miniatures for it. The bulk of this was completed on Saturday. From the Top Left: 4 candy cane bottle charms, a tomato soup and grilled cheese necklace, heart candy cane cookie pin, 2 hot chocolate rings, candy cane cookie plate ring, coffee and donut ring, pancake ring, 2 pairs of cherry pie post earrings, grilled cheese post earrings, snowflake sugar cookie plate post earrings, 3 pairs of snowflake cookie earrings, 2 pairs of heart candy cane earrings, macadamia and white chocolate post earring, chocolate peppermint cookie earrings, chocolate and nut cookie earrings, 3 pairs of mini candy cane post earrings, coffee cup earrings, 2 pairs of peppermint hot chocolate earrings, tea with lemon earrings, and 2 pairs of hanging candy cane earrings. Please excuse the little tags on some of them; I'm in the process of adding price tags to all of them. :P
The show is this Saturday, December 15th, from 7pm until 12am. It's at the IWAN The Bubble art studio which is located at 810 NE 4 Ave, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33304, for those of you who are local. :)
More earrings for my shop - this time waffles with butter and syrup. :) These are one of a kind and once they've sold, they're gone! Get a pair here: [link]
When I was up in Orlando, I found a miniature waffle maker. I've wanted to redo waffles for a while, so last night I sat down and made these. Waffle plates include waffles with butter and syrup (of course) and a mixed berry fruit salad with strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries. :) The waffles themselves are about an inch across. The plates are just under 1". All foods are made from polymer clay.
1:12 scale carrots. I wanted to start using some of the miniature items I bought this weekend in my photographs. c: Plus I need to practice my vegetables. For a first attempt, I'm very happy with these.
Mini broccoli florets inside a bottle charm attached to a 17" stainless steel chain necklace. Since the color was a little off, I couldn't use these as miniatures, so they're a necklace now. :) It really isn't so vivid - for some reason the picture makes them brighter. Get one here: [link]
Here is some broccoli as a break to all the sweets I've posted lately. This was quite an experiment. :P I have no idea why it turned so neon green after I cooked it. And the dark green chalk on top got eaten up somehow. \o/ But I guess as a little side on a food plate it wouldn't look too awful. Or popping them into a bottle and making a broccoli bottle necklace from it. Definitely going to revisit this again when I get back next week.
I had a few pieces of clay leftover from my cheese charm order, so I took them and made some 1:12 scale cheese. :) Cheddar, White Cheddar, Edam, Swiss, and Brie cheese, with some fresh baguettes. I also kinda wanted to show off my new 1:12 wood crates. c:
100 cheese charms made for a special order of 20 Cheese Wine Charm Sets for the American Dairy Farmer's Association of Ohio. These were made over the course of 3 days. Want a set for yourself? Buy one here: [link]
The first pieces for the 1:12 dollhouse scale of my online store - 1:12 scale rustic baguettes. I love making breads. The shading is the most fun part to do. C: I should have quite a few more items ready to put in my store by this weekend - maybe even a few Halloween ones!
More wine charms - pieces of cheese this time. :) Clockwise (bottom picture): Edam, Brie, Cheddar, Swiss, White Cheddar. Buy a set here: [link]
