Checkerboard cake slice charms are finished! Some of these are going into Mystery Boxes ordered this weekend. :) http://bonappeteats.com
Success! They're now the right size for charms. :) I'm also making a limited run of a Halloween themed cake as well! http://bonappeteats.com
Hey guys!
It’s time for another monthly giveaway, and this month my giveaway will be on Facebook.
The giveaway item is something new I'd like to start offering for sale at shows and online - a tiny food shadow box! This one features Breakfast (Top Row - Pancakes, English Breakfast, Crepes), Lunch (Middle Row - Chicken Soup and Salad, Steak Salad, Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup), and Dinner (Bottom Row - Shrimp Fettuccine, A Taco Plate, and Steak Frites).
All you have to do is head to my Facebook page, like it, then read the last post for the rules. You must have liked my Facebook page and comment on the last post to be entered.
24 hours from now (so 1:30 pm EST) I will announce a winner.
Good luck! :)
A commission from this past weekend, all 1:12 scale: two loose hard tacos, a bowl of ramen, and a breakfast plate with bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast.
I have two new items up on Etsy! These have been requested a few times so I decided to make some of each just for my shop. :)
The top picture is of my new glow glass charms as earrings. No, I did not tweak the colors to get them to look that bright - they really do glow just like that! I have three pairs up right now. The rest are heading to Omni Expo at the end of May.
The bottom is a new set of hamburger charms! I've made these slightly different from the ones I posted last time. These have tiny onion and tomato slices, as well as ketchup and mustard. Also, I've attached a lobster clasp so you can easily attach them to anything you want. :)
While I was making 10 taco charms last night, I made an extra and stuck it on a ring.
Why? Because why have a diamond ring when you can have a taco ring. That's why. :)
1:12 Pepperoni pizza. Pizza made from polymer clay, drinks made from resin. Cola can, pan, and cutter bought online.
I tried to get a shot with my hand for scale, but it just wasn't working. :( The pizza is about 1" wide.
Available in my Etsy Shop.
1:12 Dollhouse scale roast chicken platter. All foods are made from polymer clay. Ceramic dish and metal roasting pan were purchased online.
I don't really have much Easter stuff this year, but people do have roast chicken today maybe, right? I do have a 20% off coupon in my Etsy Shop though!
A complete roast beef dinner, complete with two plates (with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy), two glasses of red wine, and tiny cutlery. All food and plates made from polymer clay. Roasting pan, glasses, and cutlery were purchased online. The red wine was made with resin. I figured out how to white balance my camera! :D It works beautifully with my new light box now. Plus now I have a photography corner set up in my craft room. Doesn't sound too exciting, but it is for me! I wanted to add some foods to my Etsy shop, but I've been editing pictures and listing some more of Alex Meiklejohn's pottery since 10 am. I still have to clean, do dishes, finish dinner, and clean fish tanks before the day is over. Where can I go to get more hours in a day? >.< Hopefully I'll have the mini foods up tomorrow!
1:12 Scale baby back rib meal in a takeaway container. Includes a baked potato and coleslaw side.
I have a dollhouse show in Orlando next month, and I'm starting to prepare for it now. These will be there and will be available for $20 each. You can also contact me now to order one of your own if you like, since I can't guarantee I'll have any left after the show. :)
1:12 Wire Bakers Rack and Bread. Wire rack purchased online, breads made from polymer clay.
It's finally done - my first large piece I'll be putting up for sale. :D
Total time to finish this was about 12 hours spread over a few days. I know there are some issues with the wire rack itself, but unfortunately I can't fix those. :/
If this doesn't sell this weekend it's getting tossed in my Etsy store. :)
1:12 Fruit Bowl. Fruits made from polymer clay, bowl purchased online.
Two uploads in one day? Yep! I'm trying to get pictures of stuff and get them posted before they all get packed away.
There are some issues with this one, but overall I do like the look. It looks better in person than in the photograph. Wish I had bought one more bowl to make another. :c
1:12 Champagne, Caviar, and Crackers.
I've never been a big fan of caviar. :P It was fun to make, as were the crackers. Maybe too fun - I made about 50 of them. lol
1:12 Cookies and Milk.
Made some cookies yesterday to fill up some cookie jars I bought. :) I also made some 1:24 cookies which will be posted later on.
1:12 S'mores prep board.
I've done a few prep boards now, this being the second. Got a few more to finish and post before I head to Lakeland next Friday.
1:12 Chocolate chip cookie prep board.
A simple prep board from a couple of days ago. I plan on making a few of these to take up with me. I also plan to make little cookie jars with cookies in them. :)
I also have a larger project which I hope to finish by this weekend. Hopefully I can pull it off since it'd be nice to take it to the show with me.
1:12 Chocolates, made from polymer clay.
I received my first order from Handley House yesterday, so I wanted to play around with the pieces I received.
There are ton of items (my first order had to be $350 so there is a mountain of stuff) which I want to take with me to my show. Unfortunately, time is not on my side. >.< The good news is, however, I received the stemware and glasses I ordered so I can add those to my Etsy shop. :)
