I've been invited to a local craft show on the 15th of December, so I'm playing around with ideas for things I'd like to take with me. I ended up coming up with this hot chocolate and cookie tray last night. Eventually I'd like to make ones with different cookies, but I've got a limited supply of trays right now. If you'd like one, head over to my shop: [link] They're also listed in my Etsy shop. :)
I loved the heart cookies with the candy canes so much I turned them into post earrings. c: They're really adorable and really detailed for the size. You can pick some up here: [link]
Snowflake macaron post earrings. Still working on my macarons. I've only ever had them once so I'm always unsure of how they turn out. :P Available here: [link]
I was finally able to make my own snowflakes! You wouldn't believe how difficult it was to find a cookie cutter this size, so I improvised and came up with this. :) I'll have them up at some point as hanging earrings as well. Get a pair here: [link]
Hot chocolate earrings topped with whipped cream and a peppermint stick. I am loving these little cups. I apologize in advance for using them way too much. :P
Another bottle charm, this time with sour gummy worms (my favorite candy). :) The salt took forever to get on because it didn't want to stick. Some of it even came off in the bottle and is hanging out on the bottom, which does add a touch of realism. Didn't stream this because the camera kept going out of focus no matter how close I got. >.<
Gift for my grandmother: a cherry pie pin.
I made this yesterday on my stream.
Want to see more? I'll be streaming this entire week as I get ready for Florida SuperCon. :) Feel free to drop by and ask questions or just come hang out!
Wow, I can't believe I forgot to post these here.
This is what I ended up making from my Bacon & Egg tutorial, since I had a lot of bacon cane to begin with. Now I have tons of it....but tons of bacon has never been a bad thing, right? ;)
Earring Set: $8.50 plus shipping ($2 US, $5 International)
Ooooor come by Florida SuperCon and buy a pair there! :D
I just ordered some business cards in preparation for the Florida SuperCon, and I realized I had no business card holder. Now, a plain one simply wouldn't do; I have a very specific idea in mind for my booth and needed something that would match. So I made my own cake slice business card holder! It's large enough to hold about 15 standard size business cards. Once I get mine in I'll take a picture with one in it. I'm thinking of starting to sell these, completely customizable, of course. And they don't have to be cakes: cookies, cupcakes, sandwiches, ice cream...whatever they want! Do you guys like the idea?
Finally finished the donut bracelet! And yes, that's a donut with a piece of bacon on it. :D From the Top: Vanilla Donut with Vanilla Frosting and Sprinkles, Chocolate Boston Cream Donut, Plain Glazed Donut, Chocolate Donut with Chocolate Frosting and Chocolate Shavings, Jelly Donut, Vanilla Donut with Chocolate Frosting and a Bacon Strip, Glazed Pumpkin Donut, Vanilla Bostom Cream Donut. Want one? I'm available for commissions! Just send me a note. :)
I have a ton of bacon cane leftover so I made a bacon plate. This is going along with my donut/breakfast plate commission as a little extra surprise, since his wife mentioned they loved bacon. :) It'll be made into a key chain.
Commission for a breakfast plate tie clasp. Still waiting on the tie clasp to come in from ebay, but I went ahead and got the plate finished. And the person who commissioned me is super happy with it! Yay! This plate has bacon (of course!), two sunny-side-up-eggs, hash browns, and two slices of buttered toast. I think this is a HUGE improvement over my last breakfast plate: [link] Would you all like a tutorial for this? I have a lot of bacon cane left over for it. >.> lol I am willing to make more of these if anyone wants one! I can make them into key chains, rings, pendants, magnets, and pins. :)
Assorted Donut Charms
These are part of a commission for someone that found me on Pinterest (of all places!) and decided to commission me to make her a donut bracelet and some breakfast-themed items for her husband for his birthday. Hopefully she likes them. This is my first attempt at real donuts. Clockwise from the top: Pumpkin with Glaze, Jelly Filled with Powdered Sugar, Vanilla Frosted Sprinkles, Chocolate with Chocolate Frosting and Shaved Chocolate, Chocolate Boston Cream, Plain Glazed, Vanilla Boston Cream. I just love the vanilla Boston Cream donut. :3
Teeny Tiny S'mores Not sure what I'll do with these yet...maybe earrings? To be honest I just wanted to see how small I could get them and still manage to keep them looking real. :P
Want to make your own? I have a tutorial here!
