The second cake from the cake commission - a baby shower cake. The real cake is on the left, the miniature one is on the right.
You can find more cakes from the bakery that made the one on the left here. :)

It’s finished! My largest dollhouse scale commission ever - 15 miniature cakes and cupcakes based on the customer’s mother’s real cakes from her bakery. :)
These were a lot of fun to make. I’ve never really tackled complex cakes before, so there was a steep learning curve as well. Mostly on how to recreate the decorations on such a small scale.
Since they were dollhouse sized (roughly 1:6 scale), I thought I’d bring out my bakery roombox and snap some pictures of them in there.
If you want a chance to win your own dollhouse miniature food, be sure to check out my giveaway on Facebook and enter before it ends today (May 1) at 1:30pm EST. :D
I finished! All of the miniature pond containers - including this cute little dollhouse sized axolotl tub - are finally listed in my shop. :D
You can find them here - including some Altoids ponds, too!
I can also try and special order anything if you can't find it in the shop. Just contact me through my site!
Another room box. I was amazed by the detail in this one.
Dollhouses and room boxes made by the members of the Lakeland miniature Guild.
Dollhouses in the competition portion of the show. The first is 1:12, the second is 1:24, and the rest are 1:48.
Some random food on ceramic plates: baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and salad; PB&J with carrots and chips; fried chicken sandwich with fries; and grilled cheese with chips.
I wanted to try out my new mini light box so I just threw these in there to see how they'd come out. It's not bad - I'm not limited to waiting until I have decent light to take pictures anymore. I need to set up something to bounce light back onto the items from the front. Shouldn't be hard; I just need an index card or something.
The only issue I have is that I can't fit any of the paper I was using for backgrounds into it. Looks like I'll have to cut them up to fit now. Other than that, I like it! It also means I can finally take decent pictures for my PDF tutorials. :)
1:12 Roast chickens, made from polymer clay. Tray and serving dish bought online.
My first attempt at roast chicken. Or any chicken for that matter. This will be heading to my Etsy shop shortly, as well as the other items from this past weekend.
Playing around with the idea of making a roast chicken pendant just because. :P
Ice cream cones in 1:12, 1:24, and 1:48 size, made from polymer clay.
Trying to get back into working after being on and off for a while. Thought maybe some smaller scales would help shake things up a bit. :)
More 1:12 Scale bread.
I've been dragging my feet a lot the last couple of weeks when it comes to making anything. I am in a slump and it's hard trying to get out of it. :(
Available in my Etsy shop.
1:12 Dollhouse scale rolls, croissants, and hot cross buns, made from polymer clay.
Forgot to include the dime since these were just going up on Etsy at first. Then I realized I hadn't posted them here. :P
Find them in my Etsy shop. I've also added some more bread items to there as well. :)
1:12 dollhouse scale Easter cookies made from polymer clay.
I'm really sorry for the picture quality. Everything seems to suffer when I'm sick. :c
I wanted to get these up before Easter. I wanted to do quite a few more things over the past week and weekend, but I've caught the Cold of Doom and have spent pretty much every day in bed asleep. Being unproductive really bugs me.
Available on Etsy.
1:12 Dollhouse scale apples, made from polymer clay.
These were my first attempt at apples that I took to the Boca show. They were made from a cane, so if they're cut open they'll look like real apple slices. :)
Need to tweak the colors a bit on a couple of them, but that'll come with practice. I plan on making some peeled apples next.
Find them in my Etsy shop.
1:12 Semi-peeled oranges made from polymer clay.
I've found these are a great way to salvage pieces of cane where the middles don't quite meet up. :)
Available on Etsy.
Fruits and vegetables are now in my Etsy shop! Find them here. Breads, fish, and more Easter goodies will be there by this weekend. c:
1:12 Scale dollhouse carrots.
I remade my carrots for the Boca show and now I'm finally getting around to putting them on my Etsy. :)
In the next couple of days I'll have all my veggies, fruits, and bread up. I'll post something when it's all done.
