A commission from this past weekend, all 1:12 scale: two loose hard tacos, a bowl of ramen, and a breakfast plate with bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast.
1:12 Miniature lunch setup: steak frites, shrimp fettuccine, bread, red wine, and a martini. All foods made from polymer clay. Red wine and martini made from resin poured into real glass stemware.
I've been shooting pictures for the homepage of my new website. This is picture one out of 5. My site is getting closer to launching and I'm super excited! :)
1:12 Pepperoni pizza. Pizza made from polymer clay, drinks made from resin. Cola can, pan, and cutter bought online.
I tried to get a shot with my hand for scale, but it just wasn't working. :( The pizza is about 1" wide.
Available in my Etsy Shop.
A complete roast beef dinner, complete with two plates (with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy), two glasses of red wine, and tiny cutlery. All food and plates made from polymer clay. Roasting pan, glasses, and cutlery were purchased online. The red wine was made with resin. I figured out how to white balance my camera! :D It works beautifully with my new light box now. Plus now I have a photography corner set up in my craft room. Doesn't sound too exciting, but it is for me! I wanted to add some foods to my Etsy shop, but I've been editing pictures and listing some more of Alex Meiklejohn's pottery since 10 am. I still have to clean, do dishes, finish dinner, and clean fish tanks before the day is over. Where can I go to get more hours in a day? >.< Hopefully I'll have the mini foods up tomorrow!

1:12 Assorted chocolate bark.
It's back - my seasonal chocolate bark! This time there is milk chocolate with a swirled white chocolate and peppermint topping, white chocolate with crushed peppermint pieces, and dark chocolate with a semi-sweet chocolate topping sprinkled with chopped almonds.
Going to finish up a few more tomorrow as well. I'll be bringing back some of the ones from last year, too.
Available in my Etsy shop.
1:12 Scale assorted Christmas hard candies and candy canes.
It's that time of year again: when I make so many canes I can no longer feel the tip of my right index finger from slicing so many canes. D:
I have some more variety this year in the candies. Ribbon candy will be up as well at some point.
Find them here.
More 1:12 food miniatures turned into jewelry, plus taco earrings.
A big plate of pancakes with syrup and a side of strawberries, a fresh garden salad, and, of course, some hanging taco earrings. :) I'll have them up this weekend in my shop once I can get some decent lighting for pictures.
1:12 Pumpkin Pecan Pie Cheesecake
Miniature version now. Real edible version will be made on Thanksgiving. Wish me luck! :P
Available in my Etsy shop.
1:12 Taco salad.
It's not what I wanted to post next, but I really liked how they turned out after I finished them yesterday.
Available in my Etsy shop.
1:12 Dollhouse scale pumpkin and pecan pies.
Thought I'd try my hand at a pecan pie, and just because we're getting to Thanksgiving, I had to make a pumpkin one, too!
They're in my Etsy shop right now. I plan on making a few more (some as jewelry, too, I think).
Commission: Pink fondant cake with pastel accents.
First fondant cake. I may have to look into making more since they're fun to do.
Halloween Coupon
I hope your night goes well and you get lots of treats. In fact, have one early: a coupon for 15% off (minimum purchase of $10) in my Etsy shop! Coupon Code: 2spoopy Happy Halloween! :)
1:12 Tiered Dessert Trays
Here are the trays I was talking about earlier. :) I ordered a couple online and when I received them, I knew I could easily make my own. It worked wonderfully. Now I can make dessert trays in all shapes and sizes. :D
I received my package from the UK today! :D Inside were my bakery shop furniture pieces, plus the four items on the bottom of the set: 3 candy jars, 6 glass bottles, 2 serving trays with 4 sets of cutlery, and a little gift they sent me - ladies victorian hat and umbrella. I couldn't resist - I had to stock it with some of my items to see how it'd look. I love it! So now I need to build a room box for this so I have a place to put it all. It'll also serve as my new setting for when I take photographs. c:
