We never talk about how cool it is that Annabeth flew a helicopter in The Last Olympian without ever doing it just by reading about it

yea, dude! she did that shit, then landed it, and left. what a badass. kind of want to see a full circle moment in the next book or so of percy and rachel getting stuck in a different aircraft and annabeth having to land that one too. and percy joking that they shouldn't make annabeth saving them from falling hundreds of feet in the air a habit lol

They ABSOLUTELY have a conspiracy board surrounding this. Apollo thinks this is the absolute funniest thing ever.

Apollo makes her lunch when she goes to school / college / uni and writes her little (ridiculously long actually you KNOW his dialogue) notes he puts inside.

Rachel tries her BEST to hide these but one day when she comes to school with bags under her eyes he makes her a weirdly warm and fresh full meal and tapes his note to the box. It’s much shorter than usual. All it says is:

“Dear Rachel,

Sorry for the horrors! Well, extra horrors I should say. The extra horrors that have ramped up recently. I’ll be sending you nicer, additional dreams from tomorrow to make up for it. Cute cat videos, perhaps? I’m free for suggestions during your morning prayers, of course.
