Arcadia is the living, breathing heart of Rapture. Its lush forests and abundant plant life served to generate life-sustaining oxygen the city needed. It was a tranquil haven for those seeking a respite from the daily rigors of city life, to unwind and relax in solitude amongst the many trees and hills. Vacationers seeking something more relaxing than the flashing lights of Fort Frolic could find peace and serenity in the lovely Waterfall Grotto, Tea Garden, and other havens beneath the canopy of trees.

These children I have brutalized have awoken something inside that for most is beautiful and natural, but in me, is an abomination. My maternal instinct.

GIRL YES

  • the character i least understand: Sofia Lamb. Like…i get her story, but out of all of Bioshock 2 i disliked her the most and just didnt get her whole schtick and why it mattered. idk.
  • interactions i enjoyed the most: The little sisters and Big Daddies of course
  • the character who scares me the most: spider splicers are fucked up
  • the character who is mostly like me: shit i have no idea. Tenenbaum??
  • hottest looks character: The Luteces i think
  • one thing i dislike about my fave character: Jack shouldn’t have to kill all the Big Daddies :(
  • one thing i like about my hated character: He had a hot fake irish accent
  • a quote or scene that haunts me: The ‘Would you kindly’ shit still skeeves me out
  • a death that left me indifferent: Booker lmao
  • a character i wish died but didn’t: Um idk everyone dies in these games so.
  • my ship that never sailed: me and a Big Daddy :(

Splicers are the most common enemies in the first two installments of the BioShock series. The remnants of Rapture’s human population, they are the result of ADAM use during the violent conflict of the Rapture Civil War. In this war, and the chaotic days that followed, the Splicers apparently murdered most of the sane population of the city. Due to abusive ADAM consumption, their bodies and minds have been deformed beyond repair (though some of their physical deformities can be attributed to Dr. J.S. Steinman’s plastic surgery). They have become dependent on the substance, both mentally and physically. Many of them still wear Masquerade Ball masks, perhaps, as Atlas suggested, out of shame at how ADAM has deformed their bodies.
