I am conceptualising!!! Always a fan of Gordon doing stuff with his antlion pack so I thought… what if he had armour based on them? 

(The makings of it are kind of like how the dragon riders from How to train your Dragon 3 make their own suits; where he’d use loose scales/ plates given willingly from his antlions, no mistreating/manhandling here!!) 

He’d use this armour when out in the forest around White Forest as it would help him camoflague against the wildlife a lot better than his HEV suit! The use of genuine antlion plates also comforts any unknown antlions to his prescence, even without the bug bait, and they would warm up to him quicker thinking he was one of their own because of the look and smell.

The armour is lightweight but can withstand quite a few hits which makes it very practical as well as durable! So it’s a perfect fit for when there could be danger but putting on the entire HEV suit would be a hassle, it should not be worm into heavy gun fights though and is more suited for general use.

All of it is used from recycled parts (with the exception of his undersuit and HEV suit calf plating, this plating can also be changed out for some shin pads made of antlion plating if desired) and all the plates have straps that can be adjusted to better fit the wearer. The fabric is used to resemble the flapping of antlion wings and the helmet/mask is the front piece of an antlion queen’s head (the snout) with the barb antennae attached to the back to make it resemble the full head of a queen; albiet a few sizes smaller.

SHIMEJI TIME ONCE AGAIN? IT’S MORE LIKELY THAN YOU THINK...

Okay so now I’ve got shimejis on the brain again I think when I have a bit of free time after handing in my Uni work I wanna make another, but I ofc can’t decide who I wanna make-! SO-

That’s where you lovelly people come in :)

I’ve made a strawpoll on what HL1/2 character I should turn into a tiny lil shimeji friend! If you dont know what shimejis are: they’re little desktop partners that run around and just kinda hang out! They’re completely safe to run on your PC!

I’ve put a whole bunch of differen’t dudes on the list for you to choose from so pick whoever you want most or you think would look the most fun to have running around on your dash! :D 

There’s no current end date for the poll but my due by date for all my Uni work is the 14th so I’ll make sure to check it after then cuz it’s when I’ll have some free time! (I’ll also take into account who the most popular are after the polls end and then make them all when I feel like it in the order of popularity! Thats a big feat though so don’t hold your breath!! It’ll definitely take me a really long while but it’ll be something to do when I’m bored at least ;D)

Hey so ive decided to finally try out doing commissions! I’m only going to try doing pencil sketch commissions at first and see how it goes but im willing to  draw any character from any series/fandom (including OC’s!) in either my main art style or in a chibi art style! 

(Obviously drawing chibis is a lot simpler than my normal art style so theyre cheaper and a lot smaller than my main drawings! I can also dish them out quicker than any other drawing.)

Please make sure you can pay me beforehand because even though pencil sketches are a lot easier than inked/coloured drawings it will still take me time and energy to make these pieces; i’d appreciate it a lot and would really rather not be swindled into making you free art!!
