In this first part of their journey, Belle and Rumple are on their way to New York with Gideon. There they spend some time settling in to their lives away from Storybrooke and prepare for their long adventure as a family. Rumple has another motive, however, which he tries to keep from Belle until a group of visitors reveal themselves, forcing him to tell the truth about everything. But these visitors bring with them a new potential enemy. Will Rumple lose control of himself or will he be able to outsmart the trickiest of tricksters and his most powerful foe yet?

Timing This series fills in all the space between Gideon's first birthday and Belle's death.

Camp NaNo, Day 11

Well, I squeaked by today, but I have a very hectic schedule, so I’m glad to have gotten anything done at all. I did reach my daily goal and I have passed 20,000 words for the month, so I am well on target.

When I logged on today I noticed that it decided to draft my Social Saturday post instead of actually posting it. No idea why tumblr did that, though I imagine that somehow I went through the process of making it a draft myself. Don’t know how. I was creating a new post at the time. Anyway, the post is made now and all are welcome to pretend today is Saturday for a little while.

I’ve also noticed the Camp NaNo text is gone from my image. Must fix that for tomorrow. For now, I must run.

Camp NaNo, Day 10

Well, it seems I really am doing another monster of a project even though I am doing everything that I can to keep it short. Not using my typical writing style either, so we will see how this comes out. I’ve got most of a month to edit anyway, right?

Today is also Social Saturday, but I’ll throw up the questions in a separate post. If you want to ask other questions, feel free. Grill me about camp or my WIPs or what I did three hours ago. Anything and everything is always welcome.

Camp NaNo, Day 2

My goals today were to finish Storm from yesterday and also get working on Sent, the next fic in that Rumbelling series. With both goals accomplished, I think I am off to a great start for camp. Sent was a bit of a struggle, but I think it will be a good one once it gets going. Right now it is garbage, though, so don't judge. Think of this as the glimpse I to my editorial process.

Storm takes place in the Dark Castle and is mostly Belle and Rumple talking about gold.

Sent takes place in the six weeks that Rumple was outside of Storybrooke. Going to be very angsty and I try to perk it up a bit with Emma, but that wasn't the original direction I was going, so we will see if she stays in it. She probably will.

Welcome To Camp!

Today being April 1, I spent the morning preparing visuals for my camp NaNo project this month. My main goal is to complete WIPs that have just been sitting around for a while. I have a tidy little plan for that, starting with a word count goal of 60,000 words. Sounds like a lot, but it is only 2,000 a day.

The plan so far looks like this...

Don't yet know if I will actually have 5 Rumbellings this month, or if Forgery will have 14 chapters. Time will tell. As I move along, I will cross off what I have done and move on to the next thing. Sorry, you will see a lot of this image in the month ahead.

Edited to add that I have just taken a look at the moodboard and there are now 5 rumbellings ready to go. So... tada, I guess?

I will also be using this one for individual work progress...

And finally, keep track of my overall goal here...

Promise not to use all of these all the time, it will get super boring and let's face it, I'm not often around here anyway.
