⟢ i dislike many things. the main things i dislike are jimcurly, curly haters/people who refuse to understand curly and his actions, the ship between astarion and wyll, the ship between gale and lae’zel

sometimes i remember that i seriously need therapy like really bad ☹️ i find really mundane things to be pissed off about and it’s really unhealthy. (for example how i just posted a hate post about the curly australian headcanon) it’s always the most trivial things. i’m pretty sure it’s the ocd but fuck it makes me so miserable.

it could also be that i had very bad experiences with australian people so i don’t like associating him with that.

In Defense of Curly.

I'm going to start off with the biggest thing that this post could ever mention. Obviously this thread is not at all claiming he is innocent, at all, but some of you need to learn what an unkowning bystander is before you all go and jump Curly and make him out to be just as bad as Jimmy, if not worse for his "Inaction" and i'm going to explain in this thread that accounting bystanders to be apart of the crime is not fair, and how the situation with Anya, Jimmy and Curly is actually very realistic on how real life rape situations go, and the spiraling that occours afterwards.

This is going to be a long thread involving the topics of rape and other mental health junk, so strap in!

the day that people realize that curly is a complex character and he couldn’t do much about anya and jimmy without putting everyone in danger is the day that i can rest easy.

curly’s known jimmy the longest. he knows how jimmy will react to being confronted. let’s also not forget that it’s heavily implied that jimmy abuses and manipulates curly. curly isn’t completely innocent, but i’m tired of people making him out to be worse than he really is.

you guys also need to realize that anya not wanting to give curly his painkillers isn’t because she “hates him.” she doesn’t like forcing him to do something he doesn’t want to do (kinda like jimmy did to her)

curly’s intentions were never malicious. he is a flawed character. he froze up because he didn’t know how to handle that situation without jimmy lashing out. not to mention, curly’s a sweet man. he’s easily manipulated, especially when it comes to his best friend jimmy.

i could go on and on about how curly isn’t as horrible as people make him out to be, but it’s 6 am and i have places to be.

i would also like to add that curly DID CARE about anya. you guys are so fucking annoying when you say shit like “oh, curly didn’t even care about anya that’s why he didn’t speak up” IT’S NOT THAT. he didn’t speak up because jimmy is an unstable fucking lunatic. i do think it was wrong for curly to lie to get jimmy the job, but fuck dude he felt bad for his best friend who was in a low fucking place in life. he thought this would help him. jimmy is also the copilot and no one else was fucking qualified to be the copilot. they needed him whether they liked it or not. it’s also a matter of, like i said, curly’s way too nice and jimmy fucking knows that. jimmy took advantage of curly’s kindness and from the dialogue we see in the game, it’s obvious that jimmy was treating him like this before the game even took place. jimmy always brings him down and curly talks to him as if each time wasn’t the first time it had happened. people refuse to dive deeper into why a character would fucking do what they did. i’m not saying curly’s innocent, but i’m saying that his intentions weren’t malicious. you guys lack common sense and media literacy to such a painful degree that it makes you look dumb as fuck.

basically the story behind this is that i said that curly wasn’t as bad as jimmy and didn’t deserve what happened to him. they commented implying that he did deserve what happened. i replied and said “me when i’m slow” and instead of furthering their point, they blocked me and posted my @ on their story for their friends to attack me because apparently i’m ableist.

they were also a jimmy fan and a jimcurly fan. nothing else needs to be said.

but i looked at their videos and they posted jimcurly mpreg and immediately had my day destroyed.
