#what jim said is exactly what i've been saying the whole time about why the ending worked so well#so much of the backlash was just 'change bad' but this was an ideal change for the ghosts in particular#and sitcoms always end with a massive change to the status quo that's just how the genre works#even down to the plague ghosts being used to represent the positive change#i was even right about THAT
