Noor's family of five once had a beautiful home, but it was destroyed by bombs and war. Because of constant displacement, she and her family have little left. Her children have few clothes and are sick! They live in a tent. Food is getting more expensive. Winter is on the horizon. They need your help!

Her daughter Rajaa was infected with hepatitis from malnutrition, her eldest son Hussein can no longer go to school, and her baby boy Youssef needs milk, diapers, and clean drinking water. Her husband, Ashraf suffered from a shoulder injury at the beginning of the war, and has lost his job because the place where he worked was destroyed—he worked as a math teacher at a school.

Noor's donation campaign is a testament to her strength and resilience. She struggles to communicate with me because of internet issues in Gaza, but has nonetheless conveyed this message, which I will now share with you:

"We will continue to live, continue to love, and continue to dream of a better tomorrow."

She loves her children, and thanks everyone who helps her. Please, she has raised only 24,270 / 40,000. I personally am so grateful to all who donated, but I will admit I am deeply saddened how much things have slowed. Like Noor, though, I believe in hope. I believe you can make a difference in her life, for her and her family.

Speaking of spending relatively small amounts of money on minor conveniences like cat blood pressure cuffs, perhaps with all our powers combined, we could help Noor and their family gather enough funds to escape war 🙏🙇

Also apparently the only real difference between getting a blood pressure reading for a cat and for a human is the size of the cuff. As a person who's already bought a blood pressure machine to get readings for birth control, that's very convenient, I guess we might as well start doing hers at home too

It was £30 to get her blood pressure checked at the clinic, it cost me a one time charge of £25 to buy a blood pressure reader. So yanno

Saki's getting her blood pressure checked today, she's gonna be maaaad!

Somehow we've just found out across the 13 years she's been alive that the carrier comes with moaning, fear, wobbling around, anxiety, exhaustion, nausea, etc. whilst the bag is more or less "well I'm not happy about this, but I know I'm going home after". Really baffled that they got into that IN THE RECEPTION where there were other people. That feel when you see Saki in her bag and you can tell she's about to perish :(

I don't think you could actually get all the horses down the hill at helm's deep, because they'd just slip and break their legs. So I googled the scene to check if it was as steep as I thought, and got this 😂

Personally I think a lot of people are overestimating shadowfax' powers. Sure, he could psyche the horses up to go down, but it's still gravel, and horses have porcelain legs. Horses look at an apple wrong and they're like "wow. I have gas and will die now". Thank Isildur there weren't any bunnies in the area or the horses would have refused to move
