PASTEL-NET IS CLOSING

As you all may or may not have noticed, pastel-net has been fairly quiet recently, and new additions to the tag have also been steadily declining. Pastel-net has grown to become one of the biggest networks for pastel-themed blogs to come together and share their interests! It grew rapidly, and soon grew to be so large (200+ members) that the decision was made to move pastel-net to another blog (as a sideblog), making it easier to add admins or moderators that would help the blog flourish. Over 3+ years, 6 admins, and numerous attempts at reviving the group chat (..enough said), I have been proud and happy to serve as the admin of this blog.

With that being said, I am also the only current admin of pastel-net. My blog styles have shifted beyond pastel, and so have many ex-members (and even ex-admins). Although I announce this with a heavy heart, I truly do believe that it is for the best. It may seem like a surprise to some, but this has truly been a long time in the making (over a year..), and I apologize to any that feel blindsided or upset by this fact. This network blog will be left up, as it represents a culmination of some of the greatest works on pastel tumblr circa 2016. This network will not be deleted, nor will it accept any new members. Works tagged with #pastel.net will no longer be reblogged to this network, and this blog will no longer be updated. Asks about the active network will not be answered, although if you wish for us to do anything regarding us closing, please let us know! (Removal from the members' page, deletion of works, etc.) We will try our best to accomodate for the network shutdown.

This decision is final. This blog will not be given away to another admin. If, someday in the future, this url is wanted, then feel free to message this blog - we can discuss that. I have queued this post over a while, and I hope you can all like and/or reblog it to show that you have read it, although it is not necessary. From the bottom of my heart, I truly wish you all the best. Thank you.
